I started to slowly walk as to not break any trees. After about 3 hours I went near a tree to relieve myself. While I was finishing up I looked at the tree next to me. There seemed to be a thin, greenish thing wrapped around the tree and it was a bit wavy. It looked like an aura. I read too many mangas and watched too many animes to know what an aura looked like. This is probably why Jake said we are in another world, because we are.

After a few seconds something seemed to show up infront of me. It looked like a status screen from a video game. Stats and skills. That all it showed.

"Well for starters the only skill you have right now physical enhancement, which is pretty self explanatory, you can change the percentage of how much you want to enhance yourself just by really thinking it and also no matter how much you enhance yourself your stats won't change. They will remain the same even though your strength and speed will double" (Jake)

"I don't know. I still have my emotions and all this information is what I'm reading off from the panels in front of me. Also I just realized but the place I'm in is pretty dark, usually there are your thoughts moving around the place but it's dark except for these panels" (Jake)
'Well either way even if this is a system with you as it's operator it's a pretty basic system with only having stats and skills. Wouldn't there usually be other things like a store'
"from what I've seen there doesn't seem to be a store of any kind that's unlockable. Either that or I haven't found anything on how to unlock it. There never seems to be an end to the amount of information here." (Jake)

'Well that worked but I don't know if my body will be able to handle going higher than this'
When i was at 100% I didn't feel any discomfort but now that I'm past 100% even if it's by 10% my body feels likes it straining a bit to move.
'Ok, Physical Enhancement 20%'
I don't know what's going to happen so I'll still keep it on. I pushed against a tree a bit. It still made a visible dent but there is less force behind it nonetheless.
"Ok I think i'm done. It seems that my memory may have improved because I can still recall a lot of info. Right now we should be in an old forest which would explain why you are able to knock trees down so easily. Though even if they were big and healthy trees they would have a hard time staying rooted into the ground."
I wasn't really listening as I was contemplating something.

"It's the same thing to what were familiar with. There are beasts in this world that you can kill exp or you can kill people and the exp depends on how strong the thing you kill is." (Jake)
