Chapter 14 - Important Author's Note.

Hello everyone, this is the writer, Orphus, and, as you can tell, this is an important note.

But before that, I would like to first apologize for the long absence. A lot had happened during self quarantine and I never found the chance to write. Things were rather harrowing and we we had a... close call. Luckily that has been resolved nicely.

Onto the note itself. You see, while the things were going on I had somewhat... lost myself shall we say. So many things happening that needed attention, so naturally I couldn't write, and in the thick of it all, I got lost.

Not lost as in "I lost my passion." or "I lost my spark." or "I've no inspiration.", none of those.

Rather, i was drowning in the stuff. during my absence my mind was on this story and expanding the setting, to the point of planning YEARS into the future.

It was a mess of ideas and the entire story became this liter of plot bunnies trapped in a labyrinth of a setting. So when I finally got the chance to focus on this story again, what I saw was a mess.

A massive narrative of incoherent events that, on their own, would be a fun read, but together, would never connect or make sense at all and would suck the life out of the reader like some cruel dementor.

During my absence I had also visited some old favourites. Stories that had inspired me to write my own. and found myself had been straying from my ideal.

So I decided to discontinue Knyghts and Magickes, and instead write a new story.

A fresh start, a new beginning, a blank canvas. I had boiled my original script to its very central core concept and would restart from there. And the only thing the new story would have in common would be the MC's name and the settings behind-the-scenes lore.

The new story would be called New Life Plus, and will be found on my profile, when I start posting.

So again, I'm sorry for this. But I had to do it.

And to all you readers who are seeing this, thank you, all of you, who saw my story and gave it a read.

-Sincerely, Orphus.
