The entire gym had this electric buzz while the game was going on. Within the first five minutes a large amount of students were already out and entering the gym with faces that showed shock and sadness. While the stream of students entered almost everyone was surprised, this caused everyone to start warming up.
This caused a feeling of chaos while everyone was moving with no synergy for the people they work working around.
"Noir not gonna warm up." Heather appeared from behind Noir and then sat next to him.
"Let's just say my morning jog was warm up enough." Noir pronounced with a monotone voice as he stared at the screen.
"I just wanted to say I know you are my biggest competition, but I still hope we will get to fight together." Heather says this in a whisper and walks away.
This shocked Noir because even though everyone else looked at Noir and Shan as the best both of them were practically oblivious.
"As long as she puts up a good fight I'd be excited to fight her." Noir thought to himself. Noir knew Heather was a top student especially when you see her grades, but Noir knew very little about her physical abilities.
Noir diverts his attention back to the screen.
Shan had a spot in the top three already. This was great but horrible for Noir , because the top three players scores were hidden so Noir could no longer see what he had to beat.
About twenty minutes passed and still nothing overly excited except the other two in the top three has fluctuated a couple of times.
Out of nowhere a giant buzzer sounded, and the buzzer was so loud everyone covered their ears as it rang. when the buzzer finished the screen showed the three who won, and of course Shan was up there with a picture of him with a giant grin that showed of his bright white teeth that could easily allow someone to hurt there eyes.
Next the top three students walked in together but the two other then Shan were slightly bent over with a hand on their stomach. This was no doubt the work of Shan he has always had a great amount of strength.
Shan then scanned the area looking for his comrade in the sea of students. Eventually Shan saw the pile of black and purple that was Noir. He start to stride over there every step showing nothing but confidence.
"So your not bad," Noir says to Shan as Shan sits next to him.
" Like you could do any better then the perfection I just accomplished." Shan says with a tone of pride that was so thick you could cut through it.
They both became silent when they saw the screen with people's names but still no Noir but Heather was up . Noir silently wished her luck so they could fight in the finals.
Noir was in no rush to compete because he seems to forget to think about a strategy to obtain the most points.
"I'm gonna go enjoy myself, meet after your bout then." Shan says this while he walks into a crowd of people away from Noir.
"Now how do I not only beat but destroy his score." Noir thought to himself.
