The emotions glinting across his eyes were unwavering and his words were adamant. Matthew's words always bore weight on them, but he never talked about marriage or any other thing of the sort.
In retrospect, Vivian could only remember her son saying he didn't plan on marrying anyone. And then, Matthew would ignore anything regarding the topic; although he attended a few blind dates just for the heck of it.
"You mean her?" Vivian arched her right brow as she picked up a photo of Zoey. She then held it up and showed it to Matthew.
Matthew stared at Zoey's photo taken when she went in this building for the first time in this lifetime.
"Yes," He nodded languidly. "No one else."
Matthew uttered in utter seriousness despite his indifferent demeanor. He didn't avert his eyes away from his mother as he spoke his mind and heart.
