While Matthew showered, Zoey lazed around the bedroom; particularly on the couch. 'A night with this guy… no, many nights with him… oh geez!' Inside her mind, she kept repeating those distressing remarks over and over again.
"As if the problem is whether he will do anything or not…" She murmured, sighing heavily because that was the least of her concern. "The real problem is me… geez! Zoey, you're technically a thirty-year-old woman. Don't do anything to this young man." She reminded herself, massaging her temples as she waited for him to come out.
"Wait… why am I waiting for him? Not that I brought extra clothes." She frowned, realizing she didn't have a reason to wait for him. Still, when Zoey glanced at the bed she had slept in earlier, she thought it was a bit improper to just lay there.
