Chapter 1 - The Awakening!

I wake up from my sleep sweating. Another restless night I haven't been able to sleep since that car accident 3 years ago. I was in the back seat with my brother of 7 years and me at age 12. That day it was my birthday we were on are way back home when all of a sudden my sight went pitch black. When I woke up I was in a hospital with my grandma and grandpa by my side. My grandpa left shortly after I woke up.

I immediately asked when I got my vision straight, "Where is mom and dad?"

Grandma replied, "They died," With tears streaming down her face and tissue in hand.

"How!" I exclaimed as I began to cry.

She explains how and what happened but thankfully my brother is still alive. She also explained how she will be taking care of us from now on. With that this leads us to today the day my mother and father died. Today is my birthday and I haven't been getting much sleep. It's not like my birthday is exciting anyway. I walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and while brushing my teeth I notice something in the mirror. Or more specifically something behind me. It is a person that looks exactly like me except this person had red glowing eyes. While I continue to stare at the person behind me though the mirror I hear a sort of chant getting louder and louder with every word.

"let me in."

"Let Me In."

"LET ME IN!!" she finally screams.

I jump from the scream and whip around to see no one. I look at the mirror again to only see me. I thought that is was strange and freaky but didn't think much of it. Why I didn't think much of it? Good question. It was because I haven't been get much sleep so I thought I was hallucinating. Little did I know that was not the case.
