After a while of contemplating what to say, I finally just decided to say something, when I got a text.

R: So where are we going to do our project?
N: We can totally do it at my house
A: Sounds good

My mom ended up dropping me to Nick's house. I took my backpack with me as it had some of the supplies we needed for the poster as well as the rest of the homework that I needed to finish. I was kind of nervous to walk into his house but I just had to remind myself that I needed to do this project and I could just pretend that nothing had happened between me and Arlo.
"Hey, Raina. Come on in"
"Nice to see you too, Nick. Is Arlo here yet?"
"No, I'm sure he'll turn up soon. In the meantime, we can work on our other homework"

I started working on my Calculus homework when I felt something poke me.
