The menu was passed around, and everyone ordered one or two dishes. Finally, it was passed to Pearson. He casually added two more. Seeing that everyone had ordered enough, he sent the waitress away.
As the waitress came downstairs, she saw two customers coming in who were asking the hostess if they were closed.
She replied with a smile, "Yes, I'm sorry. I'm afraid you'll have to find somewhere else. We have an important customer today,"
One of the tourists said, "But I just saw a couple of people going upstairs…"
"Yes, the whole restaurant has been booked out by them. Apologies for the inconvenience."
The tourist was stunned, "I didn't think the car parked out front was that fancy! Rich folk are so low-key nowadays!"
He shook his head, sighed, and left. People had the right to book the whole restaurant, and there was nothing to be done.
