Zhao Yao patted his full stomach. It has been a long time since he had so much delicious food, even when adding his two lives.
His new Master, Immortal Lu, completely roasted the foreleg and started eating it.
"Muuaaah." Merry the Merp rested on the corner like before.
"Yao'er. Do you want to see how you died in your world?" Master asked with curiosity.
'How I died?' Zhao Yao wondered. But it didn't matter to him anymore. He probably could guess why considering the disease that spread in his community. His extreme lifestyle and poverty most likely added oil to his demise.
He hoped the landowner found him before he rotted.
'Did I get a funeral?' Zhao Yao wondered. Probably not, they must have burned him or mass funeral him with other deceased.
He didn't have anyone important who could cry at his death. So there wasn't a need for a funeral. Maybe his readers shed some tears?
'I doubt it considering my death meant leaving five novels unfinished. The readers who spent money must be cursing him.' Zhao Yao chuckled as he thought.
"So. Do you want to check it?" Master probed.
"No." Zhao Yao shook his head.
"Why?"
"It's in the past now. I don't want to think about it. Why would you want me to see my death?" Zhao Yao looked at his Master.
"Errhmm. You are right? That's not good. I am sorry." Immortal Lu embarrassedly scratched his cheeks.
"You want to see my world. Don't you? Using making me remember my death as an excuse, you want to see my memories about my world." Zhao said as he stared at his master.
"Oh, this isn't fully cooked." Immortal Lu changed the topic and placed the fully cooked leg into the fire again.
"You are charring it now."
"Oh. You are right." Master stopped and started packing the rest of the rabbit meat.
Zhao Yao smiled at his shy Master, who averted having eye contact with him after he pointed out the plan.
'This is the best time for negotiation.' Zhao Yao decided to press forward the most important problem he had.
"Master. You know that I had suffered crippling injuries that prevent me from cultivating." Zhao Yao stood up facing his Master, who was dealing with rabbit meat. "Is there a way to cure it?"
"The injuries, huh. Show it to me. Let me see how bad it is." After hearing Zhao Yao's question, Immortal Lu forgot about his embarrassment and walked closer to inspect his body.
"I don't see any problems, Yao'er," Master said after he placed his hand on Zhao Yao's chest.
"You don't see anything?" Zhao Yao was confused. How was this possible? His new body had injuries that prevented his cultivator since he was a baby.
"No. You are totally fine. You can cultivate." Master nodded.
Zhao stood there, surprised. The other Zhao Yao was mocked and bullied for his inability to cultivate.
'Don't tell me that Master is teasing me?' Zhao Yao doubted since he made his Master embarrassed just moments before.
Scars, he had big scares in his naval area.
He was still wearing the robe Zhao Bo made him wear.
'I need inner cloths and pants.'
"Do you have extra clothes, Master?" Zhao asked.
"You asked the wrong person." Master Lu shook his head fiercely.
"I need clothes, especially pants. This was the robe Zhao Bo put on me after he ripped apart mine." Zhao Yao said with resentment.
"You too?" Master nodded. "I feel you. We need to find some clothes."
"We?" Zhao Yao questioned as he felt his Master spoke like he needed clothes too.
"You need more clothes, Master."
"Cough...cough. Yes. I don't have any spares." Master Lu said as he coughed.
"I will get it after I go to my house then." Zhao Yao had to go back to the clan. If he didn't, he won't be able to enact his revenge.
Loosening his robe, Zhao Yao exposed his stomach region. He was careful not to 'expose' too much.
"These are the scars I got when I was a baby." Zhao Yao told his Master.
"Where, I don't see any?" Master Lu shrugged.
Zhao Yao looked down to get shocked and almost dropped the robe completely and shamed himself.
"How? I don't see any scars." He didn't understand why, but the scars that accompanied this body from childhood disappeared.
"You had those injuries, huh." Master Lu rubbed his jaws. "I see."
"You figured out what happened, Master?" Zhao Yao asked curiously.
"Oops. I think I over healed you." Immortal Lu smiled.
"Over healed?"
"When I saw your injuries after saving you, I healed you using my Qi. But I didn't realize it will also heal your crippling injuries." Immortal Lu walked back to continue packing the meat. "It's great that it worked out. You can start cultivating."
Zhao Yao dropped to his knees, surprised. He was expecting his Master to say some solutions that require God tier pills and ingredients or High-level demon beast core.
He was healed just like that.
That too by coincidence, when his Master intended to heal his external wound.
He remembered the original's father trying and consulting the best for a solution only to get more hopeless.
But this weird self-claimed Immortal just solved it without even intending it.
No. He isn't a self-claimed Immortal. He must be one.
A Martial God.
Zhao Yao was seeing a legend in front of him.
He regretted all the demeaning thoughts he had before.
Zhao Yao kowtowed again, but this time with heartfelt emotion.
