Chapter 38 - Ghost Bullet

Rail took a nap on the bed for twenty minutes as Haze opened up and tried to create a new character. He finally had an idea for a character twenty minutes later as the snoring finally stopped.

"Haze, what have you been doing while I was napping?" Rail opened her eyes twenty minutes later after taking a short nap, "You don't look too good. Did something happen?"

"Nothing happened. He's trying to create a new offensive type god." Zack sighed as he tossed the remote at the wall, "He's going to be stronger than me, so I decided to binge watch the second season of Burn that Witch."

"It's not going to replace you," Haze played around with for over twenty minutes while Rail was snoring, "I-I was thinking of something like a doll that can change shape."

"You mean like Terror," Zack yawned as he rubbed his eyes and stretched up into the air, "He got big, but just became a bigger target."

"Foods ready," Mack walked in the room and dropped three plates on the bed, "I-I cut cute shapes in your food Rail... You remind me of my sister."

"Bring one over to Haze, thank you Mack." Rail picked up a piece of octopus shaped chicken and tossed it in her mouth, "I would be insulted, but it tastes good."

"Yes, just forget about me," Zack said as he looked back at the two remaining plates. "I'm sure that plate is for Mace. I'm not lucky enough to be get food."

"It's for you Zack." Mack also passed him his plate, "What are you doing Haze? Just create the god already."

"I-I don't want to mess this up!" Haze wiped the sweat off his head as he changed the name of the primary ability to and selected a sniper rifle. "We need someone that makes up for Zack's weak points. I think if he he should be able to dodge blasts."

"I knew it," Zack said as he got up and walked to the exit of the room, "I'm becoming obsolete. Just like a television episode after you watch it."

"Relax, you're making me nervous." Rail snapped over to Haze and looked at the design. "I think something is missing Haze. A sniper rifle is too obvious. Why don't you make her shoot bullets out of her hands?"

"You mean like fire from her fingers? How can you even do that?"

"Rocket did that. She was also better designed then me," Zack exited the door and looked at the first floor. "By the way, I think Calli redesigned the house. Port said Lapis got us enough money for a few years."

"What do you mean got us money?" Haze pushed back his black hair as Mace walked in the room with a sports bra and a pair of shorts on. "Ugh, is it already time for my training? Can my body even handle it anymore?"

"You're not even in the F rank, yet." Haze walked back in the room to grab the remote. "Carl could beat you in two seconds now instead of one."

Haze sighed and accepted the as he clicked on the character creation scene. He clicked on the first skill and put it over the hands before a prompt appeared.

[Please describe the type of weapon embedded in the hands.]

[Cost for embedding a skill will be one extra god credit.]

"We're doing pretty well in terms of credits," Rail ate more of Mack's food as he smiled and looked at her eat. "However, remember that bullets only work well on physical targets. There are weapons that can hit both tangible and intangible objects."

"What do you mean? How can you hit something intangible?" Haze clicked in bullets in her hand and sighed before he deleted the name. "I can't think of anything more powerful than a bullet."

"Well, I should know a lot about this," Mack yawned and pointed at his cellphone. "You can't hit a ghost directly, right, but you can hit its shadow."

"It already sounds cooler than me," Zack leaned over the computer and looked at the girl with a blue skirt and a white shirt. "She even has her clothes chosen. I thought she was going to be a guy."

"I changed my mind. The more innocent she looks the better," Haze said as he wrote in for her primary skill. "There, the skill I envision can hit intangible objects."

[Ghost bullets needs a limiter and will cost one more god credit.]

[Two limiters available; ten shot limit per hour, or one shot per minute. (Power x 5)]

"That-that's ridiculous... Ten shots in an hour?" Haze sighed and moved over to the accept screen. "Ugh, why is this getting so expensive?"

"You-you forgot to upgrade the skills," Rail pointed at the screen and clicked on the coin next to her skill names. "Two credits to get the skills to the D- rank. It should at least remove the limiter a little bit."

"Fine, she-she's hopefully worth it," Haze put in the name Nicety and upgraded the skill to and upgraded the skill to . He sighed and moved over to print as the training dragon turned red on his skin.

"I-I think we have someone at the door," Lapis sighed and crossed her arms, "The guys you bought the mansion from keep coming back over and over and over again. I don't know why, but they keep giving us money."

"Don't accept it Lapis!" Haze pressed down on the button before he turned back and a saw a girl fall down on his bed. He made her personality and because he wanted a girl that could be attractive and useful at planning.

"Oh my, is this your room Haze?" Nicety got up and looked around the room as she fixed her skirt and bit her lip. "I never thought I could be so lucky. I can't wait to get a tour of the house from you."

"I-I will in a minute!" Haze got up and stretched as he heard a banging on a door, "Why would someone come and give me money? It doesn't make any sense."

"It does if someone sold your information," Nicety smiled and parted her red hair down the middle, "What? If I knew someone could create a god in my area, I'd also try and pay for a favor. They probably just want you to heal someone."

"This-this is where it gets interesting," Zack said as he got up and walked down the stairs, "Let's go find out what the want when it's a commercial break."
