Irene's gaze that had been lingering on the moon fell down right after Ilyan put his phone down. Swiftly throwing her phone on her bed, she walked down to see what she could have for dinner.

Ilyan played something from his playlist on his phone before pushing it aside. Sleep had abandoned him. Neither he was ready to meet sleep nor was sleep ready to greet him.
It had been hours since he had landed back and he had ended up coming across things that were way beyond his imagination.
Four Hours Ago.
"Mom." Ilyan knocked on his mother's door. He had rushed to meet her right after he landed in his city. Without even bothering to freshen up, he had reached her room.
Not listening to her voice despite his constant calling for her had him lightly push the door that wasn't locked.
He caught his mother in her bed, with her head laid on the headrest as the quilt covered her till her stomach.
