"You are welcome." Kiara passed him a small smile before driving back to her home.
She had waited for not even a minute. One mere night of his presence around her and it had shaken the firm walls that she had built around her heart for Ayden to cross. She needed to pull herself together.

As Ayden walked in his home, his anxious family bombarded him with a list of questions.
Grace ran to the door. "Bro. Bro. How are you?"
His mother almost cried. "How are you, Son?"
His cousins hugged him, telling him how happy they were to see him back.
Ayden freed himself from his worried family. "I am alright. Just tired. I will go and take some rest."
