He shrugged his shoulders, his mind quite not willing to entertain that thought anymore. "I am not sure if I believe in soulmates."
"Why not?" she involuntarily chided but quickly wore an apologetic expression upon realizing that.
"I don't know. I am not sure if there is any such thing as soulmates."
"There is," she insisted in a childlike voice, intertwining her hands together. "Soulmates exist. I believe they do."
He went utterly quiet after her earnest attempt of trying to shift his beliefs. "Do they always have a forever?"
