Ilyan's hesitant hands rose to wrap around her back but he could not summon the strength for that. Instead, he gently patted her head, softly whispering to her, "Irene, hey… Look at me, I am fine."
His voice acted like an alarm for her, waking her senses up and almost instantly, she pulled herself away from him but her hands still stayed on his arms.
Calming her worked up self, she took a long moment to let her gaze scruntinize him from the top to bottom. Neither he had any visible injuries nor he looked like he was in any pain. The moment that realization dawned upon her, her hands slipped off his arms and she hastily stepped back.
"Christina Ma'am… called… you got into an accident…"
Her incoherent blabbering might not have made sense to her conflicted mind but it made perfect sense to him.
