"He's here." Emma said and Max looked towards the entrance.
"I will go say hi to him." She said.
"I will go with you." Max said.
"Oh! I think I can handle this phase. I will let you know when I can't." Emma said, but he still stood up with her anyway.
"I will go with you. He's not the type to mask his disinterest. He might be rude indirectly." Max said and she scoffed softly.
It's not like she's trying to behave as if the guy was obligated to make sure everything goes smoothly, but the way he made it sound like he cared so much, when he suddenly told her to do it on her own earlier, made his sudden persistent funny.
"The others weren't so nice either, so it's no big deal, but if you insist." She said in a dry tone and they walked towards the man.
He was an old man in his middle 60, with his beautiful wife beside him.
