Max was stunned and yeah! He felt a headache from where this whole thing seems to be leading towards.
"I've said what I have to say. If she cooks, you guys can eat it if it's eat-able." Max said, doubting if the girl wasn't doing that to get to him.

Max wasn't feeling comfortable with what's going on right now.
He ended the call and the first thing he did was calling his parents.
The call was picked at the first beep and his mother's voice was heard.
"Hello mom." he said his greetings and the woman replied to him with obvious happiness in her tone.
