The car trunk opened and Heidi stepped down from it. Her eyes flaring with rage.
The black knee length skirt that she had was torn off, leaving her with a short black bum short that had two guns tucked in it and a fitted jumper that held her chest firmly.
She looked like a character that was about to go dungeon hunting, only that at this scene, there wasn't a dungeon.
The road was pretty isolated, because the mansion was a long kilometers from the normal active streets.
The whole land was owned by Smith, which he planned to build into an estate but had to halt the process because of the attempts on his daughter's life.
Proceeding with the project would only give the enemies the chance to sneak in and get the deed done.
Nowhere would be safe for Olivia and they didn't want that.
Heidi's eyes looked crazed and screaming danger. She pushed a small connection device into her left ear and disappeared into the bush beside the road, which was where her car was parked.
....
Meanwhile.
A group of six men and a one female, all dressed in a blue leather sport outfit with the logo of snake at the back of their upper wear, slowly stepped out from their hiding.
They looked at the silent car that has been bombarded with gunshots by them and couldn't leave without making sure the victim was indeed dead, because a lot of their men were lost in the attempt to kill just this one person.
Harry had made it clear that he won't take another failure as an answer this time around and even if he didn't say that, Olivia Smith owed them her head.
The girl has killed a lot of them mercilessly.
They weren't very weary because she didn't leave the mansion with her guards, which they knew was very stupid of the couple.
Seems they also want their daughter gone after all.
Their eyes sanction the green forest by their left and right through the hooded mask that they had on.
They didn't have to have their gun outstretched like police officers, since they were well trained and very good with the use of armory.
With half their conscious split at their surroundings and eyes now glued to the car that has been half damaged with their bullets, they kept moving forward.
Heidi stared at them as they got closer, with a glint of evilness in her orbs. Her blue hair that was let down cascading behind her a few minutes ago, was now tied up till the tip with a rope and coupled with her change in outfit, nothing can hindrance her movement at all.
Two extra long electrifying whips skillfully wrapped around both arms and being accompanied with one pistol at each side.
Emma has cried her heart out and couldn't find more tears.
Honey said she won't die, but what if her brain was blown off?
What if those people chop off her head?
What if she was crippled?
Will she even have a chance with Max, after that?
Those thoughts even leveled up her anxiety.
She shivered and tried not to black out.
A part of her was feeling like she could handle this situation if she tries, because Olivia has escaped worse.
But even though the knowledge was indeed intact, it would take guts to put it into use.
Emma is a strong girl, but couldn't summon the courage to land a slap on someone's face.
That could only be triggered if the lives of her loved ones were at stake and the situation has never gotten to that in her whole life.
She never looked for trouble and when trouble found her on its own, she endured it.
She doesn't have the gut to make use of the skills the body she's in, have in store.
She couldn't stop shivering. She's scared and didn't want to die.
If she would escape death, then she didn't want something that would get in the way of her mission.
"I heard you're good as well, so I will spare you a few of them, if they are lucky from a cruel death." Heidi's voice was heard in the car, making Emma's heart leaped more than before.
She felt glad that Heidi didn't leave her alone, but what did she mean by sparing a few of them for her?
She wanted to reply but was too frightened to open her mouth.
"Babe, are you dead?" Heidi asked and Emma managed to whimper loudly since she couldn't find her voice.
"You're crying? Okay remain there, I will take care of it." Heidi said in a lower tone.
Emma wanted to ask her to be careful, but could only cry more.
She mentally whispered, Mommy! Nemo!
The two names kept replying in her head.
