He began walking towards where she was and could hear her sniffles her nose, making it obvious that she was crying, but as soon as she heard his footsteps getting closer, she quickly wiped it off.
She wasn't the type to show her weak side to people. No one can be trusted until they prove themselves to be very loyal.
Even though she knew Brian isn't a bad guy, she still couldn't be weak in front of him.
"Are you okay?" Brian asked and she nodded her head, before she tried to get up and carry the two girls.
"Let me." Brian said and she glared at him.
"Don't touch them!" She warned and saw him squatted in front of her.
"Try to accept help. I'm offering it, so I'm willing. I won't hurt them." He said, his eyes remained locked with her own till she relaxed her glare.
