"I'm Nicholas." Emily was packing her bag and ready to go out for break, when she heard the dude beside her speak up.
"I heard it when you introduced yourself." She replied calmly.
"Ouch!" He exclaimed.
"Ha! No! I didn't mean to be rude. I only meant that I already know your name." She finally looked up at him and even realized how much he's super handsome up close.
She has made sure to avoid any eye contact with him and just focused on what was being taught to them, but she could feel his gaze on her every now and then, making her feel uncomfortable.
Her neck already felt numb from stiffening it in one single spot for a very long while.
"I thought you would have forgotten." He seemed to want them to start a conversation, which she wasn't interested in.
She's here to study, not chase men.
It wasn't something she found bad, but just doesn't fancy it. Perhaps due to the fact that she grew up among lots of men.
