Chereads / My Second Chance in Life. / Chapter 65 - Gain. And Spar 2.

Chapter 65 - Gain. And Spar 2.

Okay, this chapter is made from Google docs. (Thanks for those who recommended this amazing shit.)

Also, I don't know if there's errors in the chapter since I didn't use grammarly today. (Well, the fuckin' spacing problem.)

But I made sure that there were no more alerts from the Google Docs grammar checker.

So if any of you found an error, do point it out by commenting on the paragraph. (You can also ignore this. I would be happier since I wouldn't have to edit it anymore! Haha!)

"Is that true?" Garam asked dubiously as she gazed straight at Hazuki's eyes, trying to sense even the slightest bit of ripple.

But Hazuki's expression remained sincere and calm, removing some of her suspicion.

"Of course, that's true! See?! I didn't violate your words, right?" Urek said from behind Hazuki. His face was full of amicable smiles as he gazed at Garam's eyes.

"Shut up! That doesn't change the fact that you contributed to this destruction!" Garam's head popped a vein as she nearly pummeled Urek.

"See that?! Can you see how devastated this floor became?! There, look below!" Garam pointed at the largest gaping hole they left as they fought.

Urek followed her finger and when he saw the abyss, he sweated intensely. The hole was too large and the 'Floor of death' could already be seen from above.

There were even some curious residents who tried to fly above, trying to attempt escaping out of the floor. But before they could even come close to the ceiling inside, they were rebounded by an invisible force.

"T-that...!" Urek looked back at the angry Garam and pleaded. "Please forgive me! What should I do?!"

Hazuki chuckled as he saw Urek cowering behind him. He then looked above and saw Baek Ryun's worried look and Yuri's savage smile.

He then beckoned with his finger. Suddenly, the barrier containing Ying Yueru and the others appeared beside Hazuki.

After that, Hazuki dispelled the barrier around them, giving them back their freedom.

Ying Yueru immediately went beside Hazuki. "So, let some steam off?"

Hazuki smiled and replied. "A little. But not as much as with you."

Ying Yueru's lips twitched after hearing his words. 'There's many people nearby, you shameless prick!' With that said, Ying Yueru remained silent beside him.

Baek Ryun was currently helping Urek explain some things to Garam. His words 'politely' explained the circumstances and implicitly insinuated that all of these are Hazuki's ideas.

"Miss Garam, please don't blame Urek for this. After all, he was indeed forced to fight in this place and spar against Mr. Hazuki. Urek upholded his promise and he wasn't at fault for here at all."

"Not at fault?! All of these are both their fault! Who the heck would fight like their lives are on the line in a spar?!" Garam stubbornly rejected their claims.

"Garam, please forgive me already! I already know that it's my fault okay?! Just say the word, I'll do everything you want!" Urek pleaded for the last time.

"Then get the hell out of this place! Jahad's Empire might set their sights on this floor because of your fight you dumbass!" Garam shouted with a distressed look.

What should she do if the Jahad Empire really decided to set their sights on this place? This is the only place she could hide into since Jahad's princesses are forbidden in entering this place. Moreover, this place is already abandoned by Jahad's army due to Enryu's threat.

But, if they really decided to overturn this place, since Enryu has already long been inactive, then Garam would have no way out other than through Gustang himself.

'What should I do...? If Sir Gustand really sheltered me, then he would also become a fugitive like me...' She knows that she and Gustand couldn't really escape their radar if the other family leaders interfered.

"Well, don't worry about that, Miss Garam. As I said, I could restore this place." Hazuki said, interrupting her negative thoughts.

"Moreover, I can also give you some of the authority over the Shinsu of this place. Do you want to take it?" Hazuki added with narrowed eyes.

Urek, Baek Ryun, and Garam stared at Hazuki with a stunned gaze.

'What...?!'

They knew that no one other than the floor guardian is capable of doing that feat. And Hazuki just said that he will give Garam administrative powers over the floor's Shinsu?! How could that be!

Even Urek, one of the strongest Irregular in the Tower's history, was unable to properly control his Shinsu in this place. Furthermore, he couldn't fully execute his full power in a desolate environment like this.

Also, there's no such record, or even a legend, that states that the administrative power over a floor's Shinsu could be transferred!

So basically, what Hazuki said is absurd and baseless!

Garam stared at Hazuki with a mocking gaze. 'Even though he's already that powerful, he actually didn't discard his boasting personality? Heh, here I thought that powerful beings remove their bad attributes in order to protect their 'face'.'

"Consider this as an apology from my Bro here." Hazuki patted Urek on the shoulders.

Even though Urek felt that Hazuki's statements are also absurd, he's still thankful that Hazuki minded his dignity.

"Heh. Even though you're powerful, I doubt that you could do just as you say." Garam said with her arms crossed in front of her.

Hazuki smiled and he replied. "Really?"

Suddenly, the Shinsu in the air became energized and released a blue hue. The previous blood-red environment regained their previous color and the Shinsu in the air regained their power.

Previously, the Shinsu were lying dormant since they lost their 'Identity'. But now, they are so giddy that everywhere on the floor seemed to be filled with cheering Shinsu.

Everyone was dumbstruck after seeing this phenomenon. This floor already has no Floor Guardian and the Shinsu should be dormant and weak. How could it suddenly get so excited?!

All of their head's unconsciously turned towards Hazuki, who's the center of all the phenomenon.

A certain change happened within him but all of them couldn't tell what was it.

The Shinsu in the air gradually calmed down and the place regained it's blood-red color. The ambiance of the place also returned to being gloomy.

But all of them could tell that they regained their previous Shinsu control. Heck, they could even release all of their power now!

Urek and the others observed the changes in themselves and the surroundings.

After a few seconds, they gradually came into a terrifying conclusion.

'This place's Shinsu... Regained their Identity?! That means... This floor now had a floor guardian!' They immediately manifested their pockets and tried to communicate with the Floor guardian.

'Connect to the floor guardian!' All of them shouted in their minds.

Suddenly, they appeared in the familiar 'dimensional space' of the floor guardians.

They observed everything on the floor but they couldn't see anything that could be regarded as the new floor guardian.

Well, Hazuki was laughing to himself as they were trying to connect into his consciousness.

That's right. Hazuki took control of this floor's Shinsu. That was actually quite easy since the 'Authority' is scattered around on the whole floor.

Hazuki easily pieced them back together and took control of it by himself. Also, Hazuki felt that something on the 'Floor of death' has the largest amount of 'Authority fragment' but Hazuki ignored it since he knew that it was the 'Red Thryssa'.

Even though its 'Authority fragment' is large, Hazuki wasn't concerned over it since he already have, almost, Three-fourths of the 'Authority'.

As Urek and the others were looking around, their shoulders were suddenly tapped, causing them to jump in surprise. (They are in the personal space of the Floor Guardian. And of course, they are in separate spaces.)

"Looking for me?" Hazuki's subconscious said.

-----Garam, Third-person P.O.V-----

As she was looking around the Floor Guardian's personal dimension, Garam suddenly felt a hand tap on her shoulders.

"Looking for me?" A familiar voice resounded, accompanying the tap.

She jumped in surprise and tried to get away on her spot immediately.

She successfully got away and she turned around to face the new 'Floor Guardian'.

As she stared at the figure, Garam was stunned. "Mr.... Hazuki?! What are you doing here?! How could you enter someone else's conversation with the Floor Guardian?!" Her words have basis since it's known that you can't enter the Floor Guardian's dimension as a group.

"What are you talking about? Weren't you looking for me?" Hazuki replied with a smile containing mischievousness.

Hearing his words, Garam's suspicion finally has a proof. "You mean... You...!"

"Yes, yes. Floor Guardian Hazuki at your service~" Hazuki clapped his hands, in an almost effeminate way.

Garam's lips twitched after seeing Hazuki 'toying' with her mind. She then said in her calmest voice. "H-how can you become a floor guardian? It's known all over the Tower that the Floor Guardians are created at the same time as the Tower. It's certain that the Floor Guardians are birthed from Shinsu itself so how could you become a floor guardian?"

Hearing her words, Hazuki explained the reason why. "Heh, did you really think that the floor guardians are absolute? Wasn't this floor's guardian slaughtered by an Irregular like me?" Hazuki said the latter words plainly, borderline mocking the Floor Guardians.

"So don't assume that the Floor Guardians are absolute. Indeed, they are birthed by the Shinsu itself but that's all. The real administrative power comes from the 'Authority' that is everywhere on the floor. The 'Authority' is giving the Shinsu identity, causing the floor Guardians' to be absolute on their own floors."

"And that 'Authority' is something that was given to the floor guardians by the Tower. But that doesn't mean that the 'Authority' cannot be stolen. After all, the strongest have the real power here. In front of absolute strength, even the Shinsu becomes more docile and would choose sides."

"And with this floor's guardian dead, the 'Authority' were scattered around the floor, waiting to be absorbed and given identity." Hazuki, obviously, didn't give the information that the 'Authority' can be stolen. After all, no one in the Tower has a miracle technique like the Void God technique that can absorb energies even from the void.

Even though Garam felt that Hazuki's words were reasonable, she still perceived some discrepancy in the information he presented. "But what about the Irregulars having strong innate affinity with the Shinsu? Based on the interview in the past, the family leaders said that there's no Shinsu in the outside world. Moreover, there's no superpowers there so why do they have such strong Shinsu affinity even though they started like a normal person?"

"Woman, have you ever heard of the entities called 'Axes'?" Hazuki said.

Garam was perplexed since this is the first time she heard of them. "Who are they? And what is their connection to Irregulars' unusual Shinsu affinity?"

"Heh, I'm going to say this to you but you must never say this information to anymore or your existence might get erased." Hazuki said with a grim but slightly mischievous expression.

Seeing his expression, Garam could feel that this information is top-class. Moreover, just knowing it could endanger her life. "I promise you."

"'Axes' are god-like beings. They are the 'writers' for 'stories' in the mortal world. Like this Tower, everything in this Tower is controlled by an 'Axis'. That means, everything that is happening on the Tower was 'pre-written' by them."

Hearing his words, Garam shivered uncontrollably. Just the thought of someone controlling their lives could make her feel shiver down her spine. 'An entity such as them exists?! Moreover... they control everything in this Tower just like writing a story...?!'

"And of course, since 'it' is controlling everything that is happening here, the Irregulars are naturally placed here by the 'Axis' controlling this Tower. Moreover, since they are personally chosen by the 'Axis' controlling the Tower, it's no surprise that the Irregulars have affinity with the Shinsu, or you can say the Tower itself." Hazuki continued.

"I will not talk about the 'Axes' anymore since your life would be in even more danger as you know more."

Garam nodded absentmindedly as she tried to process everything that she heard. 'Our fates are predestined...'

"So, can you now accept that I'm now this floor's Guardian?" Hazuki asked, staring straight at Garam's eyes.

Garam stared straight at Hazuki before she bowed. "Yes. And I'm sorry for being rude to you, Mr. Hazuki."

"Don't worry about it, Miss Garam. You are important to Urek, so I should be amiable to you."

"So, shall we cut this conversation now since they are waiting outside?" Hazuki suggested.

Garam nodded. "Yes."

-----Hazuki, Third-person P.O.V-----

As soon as they got out, Hazuki was immediately bombarded by Urek's insistent questioning and Baek Ryun's complicated gaze.

"Hey, Bro, did you really…?!" Urek asked with a shocked gaze.

That's because unlike Garam, Hazuki only showed himself to them for a second before ejecting them. After all, it would be troublesome to explain separately. Hazuki thought that it'd be better if he explained what is happening with all of them present.

Of course, Garam is an exception since Hazuki intentionally wants her to know those informations. After all, Urek and the others would go out of the Tower in a few months, maybe sooner, and they wouldn't be so much involved in the Tower anymore.

Yuri, Evan, and Baek Ryun were obviously anticipating Hazuki's answer as they all looked over him.

"Yeah, that's right. This floor…is now my domain." Hazuki said with so much edge as he even spread his arms wide.

As Hazuki spread his arms wide, the Shinsu suddenly swarmed at him, causing him to be enveloped by a water-like substance.

This water-like substance is blue-colored, different from the blood-red ambiance of the Floor.

Just by seeing that, everyone was convinced that Hazuki is now indeed the Floor guardian.

"But how?!" Baek Ryun shouted. He's the most curious of all, considering the fact that he rejects such a thing. He was born in the Tower and for him, everything that is connected to the Tower's authority is absolute. (Authority here doesn't mean the authority of Floor Guardians. Tower's authority here means something like the domain of the Tower.)

Also considering the fact that he's a powerful Wave Controller. As a Wave Controller, he must be close to the Shinsu and he must have some kind of Charisma that could make the Shinsu obey him. So if he can analyze Hazuki's method then becoming a more powerful Wave Controller would be easy!

Yuri is also visibly anticipating his answer since her eyes are locked on him. It seems like this issue also aroused her interest. Well, that should be normal since this issue is about becoming a Floor Guardian.

Hazuki chuckled at their reaction before he replied. "Why are you all so excited about it? You wouldn't need it anyways since you all will be leaving this Tower."

Hearing his words, Baek Ryun finally calmed down a little but Yuri grumbled like a kid. "So you aren't going to tell us?"

"I didn't say that, didn't I?" Hazuki replied while looking at Yuri with a teasing smile.

"Then what are you waiting for?!" Yuri retorted back as she harrumphed. Her impatient personality has been shown once again, and in front of everyone to boot! That's definitely embarrassing for her.

"Haha, you never change, Yuri!" Urek said with a nearly 'mocking' grin. Of course, he hid it as far as he could. But it was still noticed by Yuri, unfortunately.

"What do you mean by that, huh?! You want me to reveal everything to Sister Garam?!" Yuri retaliated with a sadistic grin on her face. It looks like the 'everything' she said is related to Urek's shameful display in front of Ying Yueru earlier.

Urek didn't answer but he kept himself quiet while hiding behind Hazuki.

Yuri then laughed with a triumphant look.

Well, Hazuki and the others were forced to become side characters while the two of them bickered.

Hazuki coughed awkwardly before he continued. "Well, continuing with the explanation. I became this floor's guardian because of imprinting my identity into them. Well, more like I forcefully absorbed their identity and made them obey my will like how the Floor guardians do."

"But,,, that doesn't explain anything…" Baek Ryun replied hesitantly. Indeed, Hazuki's explanation is too short and Baek Ryun couldn't extract important information from it.

"Don't mind the small details, Baek Ryun. Because even if you know, you wouldn't be able to imitate my method since it's unique to me." He winked at Baek Ryun. "You can say that I'm peerlessly talented and no one can compare to my talent. Ah, how lonely is it to be invincible~"

Everyone's lips twitched as they stared at Hazuki's shameless overconfidence. Well, they eventually let it go since they wouldn't really be able to force him to spit everything out.

"Uhm… Is what I heard wrong?" Garam hesitatingly interrupted their conversation. Due to her previous conversation with Hazuki, she became more timid around him, afraid to rouse his annoyance.

"Where?" Yuri asked. She's the most familiar with Garam and she's definitely the most willing to assist her.

Of course, Urek would definitely also do the same. But he couldn't do it in fear of Garam's anger.

"I heard Mr. Hazuki say 'you will all be leaving the Tower'... That…" Garam asked with some hesitation. After all, this is a dream for some of the people in the Tower. The same could be said for her since she's already tired of the Tower. Tired of the conflicts, scheming, and using each other for the sake of accomplishing their own goals.

She's already weary of this kind of lifestyle. Hiding from everyone's sight in fear of getting found. Like a wild deer getting hunted by the Jahad's Empire…

Hearing her words, Urek's eyes immediately sparkled. He immediately forgot all of his fear of Garam and took it to himself to explain. "That's right, Garam! My Bro has a way to leave the Tower! I personally saw the Tower's doors and the outside world myself! Furthermore, he already promised us that he will take us out with him!"

Then he spread his arms wide as if welcoming Garam with him. "If you also want to go outside, then I'll do everything I can to convince my bro! I'll do everything! Just please, give me another chance…?!"

Even though Yuri is quite annoyed that Urek interrupted her chance to explain, she still couldn't help but feel content. After all, she rarely sees Urek pleading and she could definitely perceive Urek's sincerity.

Even Garam was touched by Urek's actions and she inwardly decided to forgive him for his earlier actions. For the first time, she didn't feel repulsed by Urek's annoying presence.

Seeing the scene, Hazuki turned towards Ying Yueru and saw her also looking at him with a smile.

Ying Yueru was inwardly cheering for Urek even though she knew that he's annoying and a fickle man. Well, this scene just proved that Garam is the bane of Urek. And she liked the fact that Urek is afraid of the woman he loves.

Well, even though Garam was touched, she still looked at Hazuki, Baek Ryun, and Yuri for confirmation.

Of course, all of them nodded. Baek Ryun had the widest smile since his best friend finally has a chance to pursue his love.

Hazuki then explained. "What my bro said is true. I indeed have a way to leave the Tower so you can rest assured that Urek wasn't only spewing sweet words."

Hearing his confirmation, Garam finally heaved a sigh of relief with a tinge of hope in them. Then she turned away from Urek as she said. "Humph, I guess forgive your earlier actions…"

"Really?!" Urek was totally overjoyed and his glee even shook the area. Because of his glee, he unconsciously released his power as a way to release his pent up joy.

Garam then looked at Hazuki and asked. "Mr. Hazuki, can you please restore the floor?" Garam finally trusted Hazuki's earlier claim since the latter is already a floor guardian.

And a floor guardian could control the Floor's Shinsu. Together with Hazuki's earlier display of might, Garam was hoping that Hazuki could really restore the place.

Well, if it were not for Enryu being rumored to be able to create life, then Garam wouldn't have believed Hazuki even if he became the Floor's Guardian.

"Of course." Then Hazuki spread his arms towards the devastated floor.

*Swoosh* Suddenly, the Shinsu on the Floor gathered in great magnitude. It was so thick that it appeared like the deep-colored sea enveloping the whole floor.

Of course, Urek and the others weren't affected since they are within Hazuki's area.

The thick, deep blue-colored Shinsu swept over everything, eventually covering the whole Floor.

The devastated land was visibly getting restored as Hazuki created the same elements of the floor. He didn't restore it like 'Rewinding time' to literally restore it. Hazuki created the same element and used it to cover the devastated land.

In just a minute, everything around them was restored to their previous state. Of course, some deviations are unavoidable but those minor changes wouldn't be noticed since no one visits this floor.

"It's finished, Miss Garam. Do you still have any problems with the earlier ruckus we caused?" Hazuki asked with a smile.

Well, his smile appeared to be a little threatening to Garam since he mentioned their earlier fight, which Garam interrupted. "N-no, it's fine Mr. Hazuki!"

"Really? Then, we can still continue, right?" Hazuki asked.

Garam wouldn't dare say no since the Floor Guardian already said so. Furthermore, Hazuki already proved that he can restore the Floor to its previous state so there's really no reason for Garam to decline.

As for the Jahad's Empire's threat? Garam already threw that matter on the back of her mind. After all, why would she still be worried if the Floor Guardian is on his side?

"Of course you can, Mr. Hazuki!" Garam hastily replied.

Urek was quite against it since Garam was already here. Was he supposed to destroy the floor again?! Moreover, in front of Garam this time?!

Even though Garam already said that it's fine, Urek could feel that there's some hidden message behind it. After all, who doesn't know that a woman is unreasonable?!

"Garam, can we really?" Urek asked hesitatingly. Like a kid who was hesitating to do what he wants because his/her parents are watching.

Garam nearly chuckled but she reigned her laughter in and remained impassive outside. "I already said it, didn't I? Why? You don't wanna continue anymore after knowing that he's already the Floor Guardian?"

"No! Of course not! I'm only worried that you might hate me again if I destroyed the place again... " Urek said while awkwardly scratching his chin.

Garam nearly swore after seeing Urek acting humble in front of her. "Yeah, go ahead and do your thing. I won't interrupt you this time."

Her tone was deadpan to Urek's ears, causing him to hesitate even further.

He looked at Hazuki apologetically and said with a troubled look. "Bro, as I thought, this wouldn't work. Can we just do this another time? And as a compensation, I will fulfill my end of the deal once we return to the base and I will also impart my 'Ray' technique to you."

"Why are you so afraid of her, Urek? It's not like we're doing anything bad, though?" Hazuki replied.

"Also, didn't I say I'll give her part of the 'Authority'?" Hazuki added. Then he looked at Garam. "With this, you shouldn't be dissatisfied anymore, right?"

Garam immediately nodded and smiled brightly. "Of course! There's no problem at all!"

She didn't even try to act like she didn't want it and in the end accept it since she already knew that this 'Authority' would be useless to him. After all, they talked about exiting the Tower so it's easy to guess their next course of action.

Well, she also plans on exiting even if she had to go with Urek but having the 'Authority' doesn't seem to be a disadvantage, isn't it? With it, she can make the 43rd-floor her fortress and Jahad's Empire wouldn't be able to resist her on this floor. She can also prepare for the arrival of the 'child of the prophecy' and directly give him the thorn that will slice the throat of that greedy king.

"Right? So, do you want to do it now or later?" Hazuki asked Garam.

"Can it be done now? If it's possible, then I'll be troubling you." Garam bowed politely.

"Before that, Yuri, explain something to her. About Jahad's blood and my blood." Hazuki called out to Yuri.

Yuri immediately figured out what Hazuki is going to do based on the things he wanted her to explain to Garam.

Yuri then explained that possessing Jahad's blood is a potential danger in itself. Because having it means Jahad can control every Jahad's princess. She also added some of the things about the 13-month series but Garam wasn't surprised by it since she knew the secret behind it.

While Yuri was explaining, Garam was getting paler by the second since her location was basically exposed to Jahad all the time. If he wanted to find her, it would only take him a day, if not a few hours to find her.

But in the end, her reaction turned to shock after hearing that the 13-month series is the key that can unseal the 135th-floor and above. Well, she was most shocked when she found out that all of this information came from Hazuki, an Irregular staying in the Tower for 8 months.

Knowing this, her opinion of Hazuki became deeper. 'He's covered in mystery… How could he possibly uncover all of this information in 8 months? Even I, a princess who stayed in the Jahad Empire for almost 3000 years, only knew some of their greatest secrets!'

"Wait,,, Yuri, do you have his blood now?" Garam asked dubiously but she knows that this possibility has a large chance of happening. If not, how could she talk about it like it's the most precious thing in the Tower?

"Yeah! And it's super amazing, Sister Garam! My power skyrocketed even though the benefits of that bastard's blood is gone!"

"My talent in controlling Shinsu also improved together with my innate potential! And I guarantee you that accepting it brings no disadvantage whatsoever!"

"So you don't have to hesitate anymore, Sister Garam! Accept Hazuki's blood and you will receive all of those benefits I mentioned!" Yuri ended her explanation with an elated smile on her face.

Though Garam wanted it, she was hesitating since Hazuki's blood might be able to control it too…

Yuri and Garam didn't even hide the contents of their conversation so Urek and the others could hear them very clearly.

At first, Baek Ryun and Urek were surprised that Yuri actually has 'Hazuki's blood' now. But as the conversation progressed, Urek couldn't help but have a bad feeling.

And his worries became true after hearing Yuri's latter words. Urek immediately hooked his arm around Hazuki and dragged him slightly away from Garam and the others.

He whispered with a nervous and panicked tone. "Bro, what's this?! You are going to inject your blood to Garam too?! I disagree, bro!" Urek's face was panicked and Hazuki couldn't help but chuckle on Urek's worries.

"Haha, Urek, your worries are unnecessary since I will erase my DNA in that blood. That blood will only contain pure, unadulterated, raw energy and potential. So you don't have to worry about feeling cucked if you had a child with Garam that looks like me." Hazuki stated with a laugh.

Urek sighed in relief after hearing Hazuki's explanation. If that's really the case, then there's no need to worry anymore since that blood would only bring benefits to Garam.

Urek raised his thumb to Hazuki and said. "Thanks, Bro!"

"Although thanks is unnecessary since I promised this to Garam, not you, You're welcome." Hazuki replied as he went back beside Ying Yueru.

Yuri and Garam's conversation already ended and they stared at Hazuki and Urek with a suspicious gaze.

"What did you say to Hazuki, huh, Urek?" Yuri said quite darkly. She thought that her premonitions are finally becoming true. She was even looking towards Ying Yueru with a slightly reproachful gaze that seems to say 'See?! Didn't I already say that this will happen sooner or later?!'

Urek nervously laughed as he replied. "Nothing, Yuri. I just asked him if the blood is absolutely 'safe'."

Yuri looked at him suspiciously but she gradually let him off. Though that's the case, Yuri was still suspicious since Urek seemed nervous as she asked him. That meant that Urek, indeed, said something to Hazuki that he doesn't want her to know.

"So, do you accept?" Hazuki asked Garam once again.

"Yes, please assist me." Garam bowed.

Even though she was hesitant at first, she immediately dispelled it since removing Jahad's blood is a must. Well, accepting Hazuki's blood would also mean that Jahad would know and the 43rd-floor might be invaded by the Jahad's army.

Well, that effect can be offset by another benefit from Hazuki, the 'Authority'. With it, the 43rd-floor would be her domain and those intruders will only face death by coming here.

Hazuki then nodded and sliced his wrist. Fresh blood soon flowed in the air and enveloped Garam in a blood-red cocoon.

Hazuki made four clones to speed up the process and left the Garam to them.

"You're sure that nothing would happen, right, bro?" Urek asked nervously.

"Stop being such a wussy! I already said it, didn't I? Nothing is included in that blood, don't worry!" Hazuki exasperatedly exclaimed.

"What is it, Hazuki? Say the word and I'll punish this brat with my own two hands." Yuri said as she knocked her fists to each other.

"Ehehehe." Urek walked away, heading beside Baek Ryun, with an embarrassed chuckle.

"Hey, where are you going?" But before he could get away, Hazuki grabbed Urek's shoulder.

Urek looked at him with puzzlement.

"We still have a fight to finish, right? So don't just walk away and help me stretch my body for a little." Hazuki continued with a slightly sadistic grin.

Seeing his smile, Urek felt trepidation envelop him. He looked at Hazuki's eyes and saw the desire to pummel something within them.

Initially, Urek wanted to fight Hazuki after Garam woke up in order to show off in front of Garam. But now, seeing Hazuki's 'intentions', he erased his plans.

"Okay! Let's do this quick, bro! We'll decide this in a single blow!" Urek suggested. He knew that he would be at a disadvantage as his opponent is a floor guardian. And this is the best scenario for him, he thought.

"Tch." Hazuki clicked his tongue. He really enjoyed the fight earlier since it has been a long time since he managed to fight with only some of his restrictions active.

Well, he couldn't really force Urek so he nodded reluctantly. "Okay."

Hazuki and Urek then separated from each other. They stood on the opposite of each other, separated by miles apart.

"Urek! Do your best! If not, then you might disgrace yourself in front of Garam later!" Hazuki said as he amassed a massive amount of Shinsu in his palms.

On his left palm, a light blue-colored Shinsu appeared. This is Hazuki's incomplete imitation of the 'Ray'. While on his right palm, a black-colored sphere appeared. This is the skill he learned from the God of Guardians, the Shinsu black-hole sphere.

Slowly, Hazuki pressed his palms onto each other.

*Boom!* *Boom!* Streaks of lightning were suddenly discharged from between his palms. Everything it touched immediately exploded into dust causing his surroundings to immediately turn into a wasteland.

Seeing his actions, Baek Ryun and Urek were stunned.

Being with Urek for a long time, he knew that Urek could also make those 'Black-hole spheres'. And he knew that it was the incarnation of destruction!

Hazuki trying to combine the 'Black-hole sphere' together with Urek's 'Ray' is simply asking for death!

"Hey, hey! Bro! There's no need to go so far, right?!" Urek shouted as he felt nervous seeing Hazuki's actions.

If Hazuki is unsuccessful, then Urek was worried that the recoil could fatally injure Hazuki. But if Hazuki's successful, then Urek was worried for himself!

The result would definitely not be good if he couldn't counter that attack!

Hazuki ignored Urek as he was immersed in his thoughts. 'Hm… The 'Ray' is more intrusive while the 'Black-hole sphere' is more overbearing… Ah, this is quite a difficult task... '

Well, Hazuki thinks like that, but in reality, he just needs to forcefully neutralize their effects through manipulating their core mechanisms.

The 'Ray' needs to be calmed down by countering it's high-frequency vibration. And the 'Black-hole sphere's' destructive properties had to be removed.

Of course, what would remain is an empty shell but that's the point for Hazuki. If he could combine the two by removing their unique properties, then the task would be easier! After all, he just needs to restore their unique properties and stabilize it.

Hazuki then cancelled both abilities, effectively calming the surrounding Shinsu.

Urek and Baek Ryun heaved a sigh of relief as they thought that they persuaded Hazuki.

But suddenly, Hazuki created another batch of the 'Black-hole sphere' and 'Ray' causing them to facepalm.

"Urek, be careful!" Baek Ryun could only say so since he knew that Hazuki wouldn't be persuaded by them.

Urek shook his head and stared at Hazuki seriously. "Bro, I'm sorry if I injure you this time, okay? Don't worry I'll spend high-quality medicines for your quick recovery!"

Then he aggregated a massive amount of Shinsu in his right hand. The Shinsu is deep blue in color, has the size of a basketball and is shaped like a diamond.

*Sizzle* *Sizzle* But even though it was small, the dangerousness it emanates was amazingly powerful.

Surrounding the diamond shaped Shinsu was a circular lightning that seemed to be guarding the diamond inside.

Urek held into it properly, gathering power while waiting for Hazuki to finish.

The energies in Hazuki's palms are already combined into a single mass of destructive power. But even though it emits a threatening aura, it was so calm and it wouldn't even make a ripple in the air.

'Good. Now I just have to return their properties back and stabilize it…' Hazuki thought as he channeled his energy towards the sphere in his hands.

*Boom!* Suddenly, the sphere within Hazuki's hands exploded in a bang. The explosion was accompanied by lightning sweeping through all directions causing massive destruction.

Right now, the area two kilometers around Hazuki is already pulverized due to the explosion.

"Bro!" "Mr. Hazuki!" "Hazuki!" "Hazuki-san!" Urek, Baek Ryun, Ying Yueru, and Evan immediately shouted in alarm. (Okay, Mr. and -san are the same, right?)

"Don't worry, he's okay. He wouldn't die just because of something silly like his experiments." Ying Yueru, on the side, chuckled as she assured them.

Though they weren't really sure, they could only trust her words since she is Hazuki's woman. She definitely knows him more than them.

A few seconds later, the dust settled, revealing Hazuki's figure.

His upper garments were destroyed, revealing his chiseled frame. There wasn't even the tiniest injury on him and he only lost his clothing because of that explosion.

On Hazuki's hands, there is an ominous red-colored sphere emanating a scary aura.

The sphere is only as big as an orange but it was emitting so much Shinsu. That just meant that it was a fully compressed Shinsu that is stretched until its full potential.

Looking closely inside the sphere, there are countless streaks of lightning that seems to be rampaging as they want to escape. And occasionally, the sphere is releasing deadly lightning streaks.

*Boom!* The streaks of lightning only extended up to 10 inches long but it was enough to cause an explosion in the direction it went.

Urek intensely sweated the moment he laid his eyes on the Shinsu sphere in Hazuki's hands. Baek Ryun also looked at it grimly, on standby, ready to assist Urek in a moment of notice.

While the two are distressed, Yuri was actually laughing at Urek's predicament. "Haha! Let's see how you escape that attack unscathed! It would be best if Sister Garam could see your disgraceful figure once you lose!"

She knows she should be worried about Urek. But she also knows that Hazuki wouldn't really kill Urek. In the end, she decided to trust Hazuki and relieved herself from worries.

Well, she's right about that though. Hazuki already made precautions since he knew that this attack could potentially destroy Urek.

Before the 'Void Ray' could arrive in front of Urek, Hazuki would wrap it in heavenly energy containing Yin-Yang properties that can nullify its effect. Resulting in him only scaring Urek and Baek Ryun.

Of course, Urek may also dodge out of the way but it's better to be safe and cancel it altogether.

Hazuki then grinned and he shouted towards Urek. "Here it goes!"

Then he threw the 'Void Ray' towards Urek.

Urek also released his attack nervously at the same time as Hazuki since it wouldn't be that easy to dodge a ray once it wasn't hindered by something.

*Woosh!* The 'Void Ray' instantly pierced through Urek's 'Ray' effectively removing the frame holding the Shinsu into its form and causing it to cause a massive explosion.

A circular, but blunt explosion shook the whole floor as a result of Urek's 'Ray' getting pierced.

Urek was stunned seeing his 'Ray' get pierced so easily like it was butter. He was too stunned to notice that the 'Void Ray' was already within 50 meters in front of him since it travels at the speed of light.

Hazuki then clenched his already extended palm causing the 'Void Ray' to disappear before it could even get within a meter from Urek.

Urek woke up from his trance and he felt that his legs didn't have strength. He fell down from the sky but soon, he was caught by Baek Ryun.

Baek Ryun then brought Urek down to sit on the ground.

A second later, Hazuki appeared near them.

Urek immediately looked at Hazuki with reproach. "Bro! You scared me to death! I almost thought that I'm a goner!"

"Haha! Don't worry, I wouldn't do that to any of my friends." Hazuki said with a slightly contented smile. Though he wasn't able to release his pent up desire to fight, he was able to create a powerful projectile technique.
