The students of Class A were gathered in front of a building within the Central Plaza.
"Now, we will begin the practical exam. Of course, it's possible to fail this exam. If you want to go to the training camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes." Aizawa said.
"There are a lot of teachers..." Jiro was puzzled.
"I expect that you all have gathered information ahead of time and have some idea of what you will be doing," he added.
"We're fighting robot warriors like at the entrance exam, right?" Kaminari was already cheering, not even a little bit worried about the practical exams.
"Fireworks! Curry! Test of courage!"
Almost all of them were already sure about passing the Practical exam. But that was when Aizawa's strings like scarf started vibrating.
"Too bad! For various reasons, the exam will be different starting this time!" Said Principal Nezu as he suddenly popped out of Aizawa's scarf like capturing weapon.
"Different?" Yaoyaruzu asked.
"From now on, we will be focusing on person-to-person combat and hero work, and stress teaching that is closer to actual fighting." Principal Nezu explained what he meant by a different Practical exam.
"So.. We'll have you form teams of two to fight against one teacher!"
Principal Nezu's words shocked the students. 'A practical exam against teachers?!'
"Against... the teachers?" Uraraka muttered.
"Also, the teams and who will be up against each team has already been decided. These were determined at my discretion based on various individual factors, including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships. So here are the teams." said Aizawa.
"First, Yaoyaruzu and Todoroki are one team, and they're fighting against me. Next, Midoriya and Bakugou are a team and their opponent.."
Izuku and Bakugou's vision was suddenly covered by a shadow, so they looked up and saw All might falling from above.
"I.. will do it!" All might said.
"All might?!" Both Bakugou and Mioriya were shocked. 'We are up against the number 1 hero!?'
Their classmates are also watching the turn of events, and even they were shocked. 'Bakugou and Midoriya are fighting All might-sensei?! That's an Impossible mission!'
"Work together to beat me, you two!"
Aizawa already announced each of the teams and who they'll be fighting against. There's only one left among them who are not assigned a team.
"And Lastly, Hazuki himself will be a team and he's fighting against All might, That's all."
This time, they were more shocked. 'Hazuki-kun is fighting against All might-sensei alone?! That's just impossible, even for someone as strong as Hazuki-kun!' they thought.
"All might-sensei, I want a spare time to talk with you, before we start the match later." Hazuki said.
'Yeah!! I can finally officially fight All might! I should let myself loose here, after all, this is the only time I will be able to fight him.'
The teams were as such.
1st match: Kirishima and Sato against Cementoss.
2nd match: Asui and Tokoyami against Ectoplasm.
3rd match: Iida and Ojiro against Power Loader.
4th match: Todoroki and Yaoyaruzu against Aizawa.
5th match: Uraraka and Aoyama against Thirteen.
6th match: Kaminari and Ashido against Principal Nezu.
7th match: Sato and Jiro against President Mic.
8th match: Shoji and Hagakure against Snipe.
9th match: Mineta and Sero against Midnight.
10th match: Bakugou and Izuku against All might.
11th match: Hazuki against All might.
"The time limit for the Exam is thirty minutes! Your objectives are either to put these handcuffs on the teacher, or have one of you escape from the stage!"
"Put the handcuffs on the teacher... Looks like a combat training." Kaminari said.
"Is it really okay to run?" Ashido asked.
Principal Nezu confirmed and noded. "Yup!"
"But it'll be different from combat training! You'll be up against someone waaaaay better than you!" President Mic said.
"Better... than us...? I can't really imagine it, though." said Jiro with a straight face. As if she couldn't really imagine that.
"Dummy! Hey girl, watch your mouth! You hear?" President Mic was irritated. 'A student looking down on me?! Hey girl, I'll let you know why I'm waaaay better than you both!'
"But with these rules, you're probably thinking the only choice is to run, right? That's why we had the support course make these for us! Ultra compressed weights! We'll put on about half of our body weight. It's to give you a handicap." All might said as he wore the Weights around his wrists and ankles.
"All right, each team will take the practical exam in order on the prepared stage. Sato and Kirishima, get ready to enter." Aizawa said.
"Those waiting for their turn can watch the exams or think strategies as a team. Do what you want." After saying these words, Aizawa walked inside the building together with his co-teachers.
The teammates grouped and started thinking of their strategies, but the same cannot be said to Izuku's team.
Izuku wanted to talk to Bakugou in order to Strategize some plans, but he was completely ignored by the latter. Bakugou walked away alone, probably trying to ease his mind and devise strategies by himself.
Izuku then walked towards the monitor room and just started watching the ongoing matches.
The first fight was between Kirishima's team against Cementoss.
Both Kirishima and Sato were running through the stage when suddenly, a cement wall appeared in front of them, surprising the duo.
After seeing Cementoss on the opposite side of the road, Kirishima and Sato decided to capture cementoss and charged straight ahead.
Cementoss already predicted that the duo would do this, so he made many cement walls to make a massive barricade in front of him.
Kirishima and Sato used their quirks and punched their way through the barricade.
They continued to push forward with their strength, but the cement walls were appearing endlessly.
Soon, both of them were exhausted and their quirks also disappeared. They have reached their quirk's time limit.
Cementoss engulfed them with cement and immobilized both of them.
"Team Sato and Kirishima retires due to both members losing consciousness." A robotic voice announced.
Next was Tokoyami and Asui versus Ectoplasm. The stage was inside a building.
Tokoyami and Asui were standing at the lowest floor and was staring around, observing where ectoplasm might be.
Smoke suddenly appeared and shapeshifted into Ectoplasm's form.
Both of them were completely surrounded by the clones, but they were not so hopeless.
Tokoyami threw Asui upwards with dark shadow, but before Asui could even land, she already enveloped Tokoyami with her elongated tongue. She pulled Tokoyami with her, and they landed on the 3rd floor of the building, temporarily escaping their predicament.
Both of them ran but they were still surrounded by the numerous clones. Tokoyami was already being cornered by the clones. Asui, once again, assisted him by pulling him out and throwing him upwards.
They both fought against Ectoplasm's clones and succeeded in reducing their numbers.
After seeing his clones were defeated, Ectoplasm released a single gigantic clone. It opened its mouth and bit down where the duo was. Asui was too late in reacting and was engulfed together with Tokoyami, who tried to save her.
Both of them were immobilized, and Asui started executed her plan. She had Tokoyami release Dark shadow to fight against Ectoplasm in order to distract him. She then spat out the handcuff distributed to them earlier.
Dark shadow was blown away and retreated near Tokoyami, Asui then gave the handcuff to Dark shadow.
After receiving the Handcuff, Dark shadow charged towards Ectoplasm and punched, inserting Ectoplasm's prosthetic foot inside the handcuff.
"Team Asui and Tokoyami passed." A robotic voice announced.
Next was Iida and Ojiro versus Power Loader.
The stage was inside a Construction site.
Iida and Ojiro cannot move properly, that's because there were pits everywhere on the ground. A single wrong move and they'll fall into the pit.
Iida had Ojiro rode his back. He then used ReciproBurst in order to quickly run past the pits.
Power Loader saw this and immediately collapsed the ground in front of Iida.
After Iida saw this, he jumped and ordered Ojiro to use his tail to wrap around his leg.
Iida used his ReciproBurst only on his right foot in order to generate a spinning motion, with him as the center.
Iida threw Ojiro towards the exit and was successful. Ojiro safely exited the stage.
"Team Ojiro and Iida passed."
The fourth match is between Todoroki and Yaoyaruzu team versus Aizawa.
Todoroki and Yaoyaruzu stuck with each other, Todoroki formulated a plan against Aizawa. And while they were walking, Yaoyaruzu suddenly stopped and praised Todoroki's decisiveness. Due to that, they were found by Aizawa first.
Todoroki had Yaoyaruzu run towards the exit and fought Aizawa by himself, but his quirk was erased, and it didn't take much time for Aizawa to immobilized Todoroki by hanging him up an electrical wire. He also scattered Caltrops below Todoroki to stop him from escaping.
Aizawa, then, chased after Yaoyaruzu, he found her running towards the exit and captured her arm with his weapon.
Yaoyaruzu escaped by creating a tube around her arm, effectively removing Aizawa's bindings.
She then ran back towards Todoroki and freed him. Todoroki asked if Yaoyaruzu if she had a plan. If she has, then they would execute it against Aizawa.
Both of them ran away from Aizawa.
Aizawa used his capturing weapon, attempting to once again Immobilize Todoroki.
Todoroki's quirk suddenly came back and he used the maximum output of his Right side to block Aizawa's advance.
Yaoyaruzu made an imitation of Aizawa's capturing weapon and added a certain material within it. She also made a catapult and two black capes in order to block Aizawa's vision.
They deliberately had themselves seen by Aizawa while they were running towards the exit.
Aizawa used his capturing weapon to seize both of them. But Yaoyaruzu ducked and dodged Aizawa's binding.
The catapult hidden within the black cape was also revealed. Yaoyaruzu triggered the catapult's mechanism causing it to throw the capture bindings toward Aizawa.
Yaoyaruzu asked Todoroki to release his flame towards Aizawa. The capture bindings suddenly reverted to their previous state and enveloped Aizawa.
"Team Todoroki and Yaoyaruzu have passed."
The fifth match was between Uraraka and Aoyama versus Thirteen.
Both Uraraka and Aoyama was already cornered by Thirteen.
Both of them were being sucked by Thirteen's quirk, and they were holding on a railing to prevent themselves from being completely sucked by the black hole.
Uraraka was thinking what Izuku might do in that kind of situation, but Aoyama suddenly interrupted her and asked her if she likes Izuku.
Uraraka was embarrassed and momentarily released her hold on the railings.
Thirteen stopped his quirk. If he didn't, he might disintegrate Uraraka.
After feeling that the suction force stopped, Uraraka punched towards Thirteen's head using Gunhead Martial Arts.
Thirteen dodged, but Uraraka grabbed his left arm with both of her arms. Thirteen tried to pry her away from him by his right arm, but Aoyama also pressed his right arm down.
Uraraka soon handcuffed Thirteen's left arm.
"Team Uraraka and Aoyama has passed."
The sixth match was between Kaminari and Ashido versus Principal Nezu.
The stage was the same field gamma they used when they were doing a Rescue Training Race.
Kaminari and Ashido's plan was very simple.
Run all the way towards the exit. If the Principal saw them, Kaminari would use his quirk to paralyze him.
They continued to run when suddenly, they heard vibration and colliding noises.
The buildings suddenly collapsed. Kaminari and Ashido ran away in order to escape the collapsing structures behind them.
What they didn't realize, is the fact that their path towards the exit was now completely blocked by the destruction.
Principal Nezu was sitting on a crane, controlling its mechanisms to destroy certain parts of the building that would cause a chain reaction and completely block the duo's exit.
Kaminari and Ashido were completely helpless against the Principal's Intellect and soon ran out of time.
"Team Kaminari and Ashido retires due to running out of time."
The seventh match was between Jiro and Koda versus President Mic.
Jiro and Koda were running through the forest. They were trying to completely avoid President Mic and exit the stage without combat.
"Yeaaah!!" Their ears felt like they would burst after hearing President Mic's amplified scream.
Jiro asked Koda to control the animals, and have them attack President Mic. But Koda said the animals would be scared by the sound President Mic produced.
"Hey!! Where are you!!" Once again, President Mic's voice traveled to their ears.
This time Jiro found an ant and realized they were leaning on a bug's nest. She asked if Koda could control them. The result, Koda ran completely terrified and hid behind a tree.
"Are you coming?!!" Jiro's ears are already bleeding due to the excessive sound, President Mic produces.
Koda saw Jiro's ears bleeding, so he steeled his heart and talked to the bugs. He ordered them to attack President Mic, who's ahead of them.
The bugs broke out of the ground and clung to President Mic.
President Mic was completely terrified of the bugs and soon passed out.
"Team Jiro and Koda passed!"
Jiro and Koda easily escaped through the exit after President Mic passed out.
The eighth match was between Hagakure and Shoji versus Snipe.
Shoji and Hagakure were hiding behind a pillar helplessly. They couldn't counter Snipe at all due to the distance between them and the fact that Snipe was a long-range fighter.
Snipe suddenly threw a smoke bomb. The whole stage was completely covered in smoke and the pillar, where Shoji and Hagakure had been hiding also collapsed.
Shoji ran towards the opposite pillar and found that Hagakure disappeared behind him. He looked around, then he saw Hagakure's boots and gloves on the ground.
He immediately realized her plan and came out of hiding. He charged towards Snipe and acted as a decoy.
Hagakure soon captured Snipe with the Handcuffs.
"Bounce?" Snipe was puzzled. 'Why did I suddenly feel something bouncy?'
"Snipe-sensei!" Hagakure's Irritated voice was suddenly heard.
Snipe then realized what that is and immediately apologized. "It was a misunderstanding! It was beyond my control! I didn't do it on purpose..!"
"Team Hagakure and Shoji has passed."
The ninth match was between Mineta and Sero versus Midnight.
Mineta was running away from Midnight while Sero was sound asleep in Midnight's lap.
It was because of her quirk Somnambulist. Just a single smell and Mineta would pass out.
So he ran and ran until he couldn't see Midnight anymore.
That's what he thought, but Midnight suddenly appeared behind him and whipped him.
Mineta once again ran and this time he hid behind a boulder.
After catching his breath, Mineta deeply inhaled and used Sero's tape to seal his nose and mouth.
Mineta dashed out of the boulder and started throwing his grape ball around, It was his ultimate move 'Grape Rush'. He succeeded in holding Midnight in that place as he made his way towards Sero.
Mineta then carried Sero together with him and soon, they escaped through the exit.
"Team Mineta and Sero has passed!"
The tenth match was the much-awaited fight. Bakugou and Midoriya would be fighting against the number 1 Hero, All might.
Bakugou was walking ahead of Izuku, trying to completely ignore him.
Izuku approached him to explain his plans about the escape, but bakugou ignored him completely and walked even faster.
Izuku ran towards Bakugou, trying to stop him from his foolish plans of fighting against All might.
But Bakugou suddenly swung his right arm towards Izuku, who was running towards him.
Izuku dodged, his reflexes were better than it was because of Hazuki's instructions.
"Don't say another word. Just because things are going better for you doesn't mean you should talk. It's pissing me off." Bakugou growled to Izuku while angrily glaring at him.
While they were talking to each other, a massive wind pressure assaulted the whole place.
Buildings were destroyed, cars were flying everywhere and the road was literally scraped off the ground revealing the ground.
"Who gives a damn about destroying the city!"
Both Bakugou and Izuku felt intense intimidating aura emanated by All might.
All might suddenly stomped his foot. The ground shook, Izuku and Bakugou were nearly blown away by that single action.
"If you think of this as an exam, then you'll be sorry. I am a villain, Heroes."
"Come at me with everything you've got!"
After witnessing All might's power and his intimidating pressure, Izuku opted to retreat.
But Bakugou's decision was the complete opposite of Izuku's, he wanted direct confrontation.
"Stun Grenade!" Bakugou said as he aimed his gauntlets toward All might, releasing his maximum firepower at once.
Bakugou pounced at All might the moment his attack was released.
All might grabbed Bakugou's face while he was mid-air, trying to immobilize Bakugou.
Bakugou didn't even try to escape All might's grasp. He aimed his palms towards All might's face and released his attacks.
But it was all itch for the recovered All might. He slammed Bakugou into the ground.
All might came behind Izuku, startling the latter.
Izuku tried to jump away, but he collided with Bakugou. As a result Bakugou was blown away for quite some distance. Izuku tried to catch him, but All might kicked him in the back causing him to fall flatly on the ground.
Bakugou got up and slowly walked towards All might, disregarding Izuku who's trying to stop him on the way.
"Shut up, I'll win. That's what it means to be a Hero."
"For now, here's a present for the one who wants to run away." All might's voice was heard from above.
He was holding a destroyed street railings. All might pressed Izuku on the ground using it. Then appeared in front of bakugou and gave him a punch in the gut.
Izuku easily removed the bindings and charged towards All might.
He punched All might in the face, but it only tilted his head a little bit.
All might then grabbed Izuku's arm and threw him towards Bakugou.
After he was blown away, Izuku picked up Bakugou and ran inside an alleyway.
Bakugou was struggling within Izuku's grasp. He swung his arm towards Izuku and finally managed to get freed.
"Kacchan, I really can't think of a way to beat All might, or way to make a clean escape." "Huh?!"
"At least, try to cooperate with me! Are you really going to let your pride ruin you?! From your actions, it was obvious that you already gave up!"
"You're you because you never gave up on winning, right? 'Always wins in the end.' You've been saying that since we were kids. How can you try giving up and just accept losing?!" Izuku said.
Every word Izuku said, hit all of his weak spots. Bakugou gritted his teeth and suddenly punched towards Izuku.
*Boom!* Bakugou struck the wall beside Izuku's head.
"I'll say it again, nerd. Against the crazy speed, no matter how you run and hide, you won't be able to avoid fighting."
"But we don't have a chance to fight! Not against someone like All migh--"
"Shut up, Bastard! I'll kill you!"
"He won't even budge with a half-assed power. I figured that out earlier with those consecutive hits. So.."
All might was running towards the exit, he was expecting to see both Midoriya and Bakugou escaping, when suddenly a voice sounded behind him.
"Where are you looking?!" Bakugou shouted, then he aimed his explosion towards All might's head.
Izuku suddenly appeared behind All might and released the trigger from Bakugou's gauntlet.
An explosion met All might head-on.
Due to the force behind the explosion, Bakugou was propelled backwards and had time to avoid Izuku's attack.
Both of them dashed towards the exit, but Izuku noticed he was much faster than Bakugou.
He carried Bakugou by his shoulders and dashed all the way through the exit.
But how can All might just let them be? He has already recovered from his past injury, even if his stomach cannot be brought back, at least he can work longer now and slowed the decline of his power.
All might appeared beside Izuku. Bakugou tried to use his gauntlet to stall All might, but it was destroyed from All might's punch.
All might then punched Izuku's stomach, sending the duo flying towards a nearby building.
Bakugou crawled out of the debris and pounced towards All might.
All might just swatted him away. Izuku leaped out of a building and tried to punch All might's face, but his arm was stopped mid-way and he felt his body being lifted and smashed.
All might smashed Izuku towards Bakugou. *Boom!*
"That's wonderful, boys. You cooperated-- However reluctantly--- and faced me!" All might said.
"However! That was a prerequisite for this exam!" he added while looking at the 2 boys. After that, he threw Izuku away.
Izuku struck a nearby building and was buried by debris.
He struggled to get up and crawl outside. He saw Bakugou's explosion swallowing All might's figure.
Bakugou came out of the smoke and grabbed Izuku's collar. "I'm gonna send you flying!"
Bakugou then threw Izuku away and propelled it further using his quirk.
"New Hampshire Smash!" All might struck Izuku in the back.
"Come now, you're being naive, Heroes!"
Bakugou jumped and tried his best to blow away All might. "Go! Deku, Hurry!"
Izuku cannot move properly due to the Back injury he received after he was struck by All might.
"Make yourself useful, damn scum!"
All might couldn't see Bakugou destroying his own arm like that. He grabbed Bakugou's head and smashed him down.
"I'll break.. and break myself... Even if it means twisting myself, I'll win the way I choose.."
"I won't accept that I can't even beat you like that.." Bakugou said, then he bit hard on All might's palm. "No way!"
Izuku heard all of Bakugou's mutterings and couldn't help but go back. "Kacchan!"
He used the upper limit of his Full cowling and pounced towards All might. "Please move, All might."
Then, Izuku delivered his punch to All might's face. He picked Bakugou up and ran to the exit.
All might, even though he wasn't hurt, didn't chase after them anymore. 'That's right. That's how you were from the beginning. You can't help but save those who need to be rescued. And at times like that, there isn't a wall that can stop you. That's right. That's the kind of person you've always been.'
He was satisfied with Izuku's actions.
"Team Midoriya and Bakugou have passsed!"
