It was a ordinary Friday morning when I woke up to the sound of my phone, at first I thought it is my alarm that went off. I got up and went to take a shower when I got out the shower I looked at the time on my phone, it was 7 am and that I missed a phone call from an unkown number.
I was running late for work therefore I decided to skip on breakfast. The time I arrived at work, was also the time I had received a message from the very same number.
"Hey its me, Kanashi."
"I wonder if you are free this Sunday afternoon?"
I thought to myself is it the very same Kanashi from high-school, it can't be for he had moved to Rougu. The last time I saw him was at the end of our graduation ceremony that was also where it all had happened..
I replied while entering a meeting "...Hey Kanashi, I will let you know by tonight. "
ONE HOUR LATER
~Sigh
I feel exhausted after that long meeting, I can finally relax at least thats what I thought when Jasmine my PA walked in and delivered my paper work. I thought to myself can this day get any longer, after my paper work it was time to go home. On my way home I was wondering if I am actually going to reply to Kanashi's message..
I have arrived home by the time 7pm, as I entered the front door I saw leather brown formal shoes on the floor. This means Leo is home from school as well.
I rised my voice so Leo could hear me "Leo I'm home what do you want for dinner?"
"Leo!"
I walked up the stairs and stood in front of his door knocking almost five times, I wonder is he okay in there. I shouldn't enter a boys room while that's what I read in 'Walking in on boys.' My face turned red, but what if something happened to him, I couldn't stand here anymore.
I shouted while opening the door to his room "Leo, I'm coming in!"
My face went into a shock as I saw Leo on the floor, I rushed beside him. Shouting his name while shaking his body side to side trying to wake him up, tears ran down my cheeks as I did so.
Leo finally woke up looking at me with a dull face, he asked me what am I doing?
I told him what had happen and he laughed, apparently it was a new device that allows you to enter your mind in a state of a deep sleep. I got up and told him dinner would be ready in a hour.
I made his favorite rice curry. When he come down the stairs for dinner I went up to go take a bath, I told him I'll be down soon.
The warm water against my skin is so refreshing, making my skin soft and smooth although with this heat it is creating a fog of steam. I couldn't see anything but the steam. A few minutes later a figure emerged from the steam, it had a muscular body shape and I swear I could hear a rough voice coming from the steam calling out my name. The fog cleared and there I saw it the figure became visible he had a tan, smooth and muscular body with hair that would shine a mile away although his face wasn't clear I could feel his body against mine, skin on skin, water touching water these emotions I'm feeling only one person can make me feel like this. Kanashi is it you I wonder.
As I reached towards the face of the body it suddenly started to disappear along with the fog of steam, I felt a cold air flowing into the bathroom that mean the door is open it also means that is where the fog of steam went along with the body shaped figure.
"Yo! How long are you going to be in there?" shouted Leo.
I replied to him that I'll be out in a second just give me time to change.
He left so did the steam, it was sad due to the fact that I never saw that man's face. I got out, dressed and went down stairs for dinner.
After dinner I sat in my room looking at my phone thinking of how to reply to Kanashi's message, as I was about to respond there was a knock on the door. It was Leo, I saw Leo's expression on his face, what's wrong I asked.
Leo is my cousin who moved in with me after his mother death, he was lonely and never wanted to speak about it but after this few months with each other he started to open up.
"I'm missing my mother badly and I'm truly greatful that I ended up with you as you are like a second mother to me and how I wish that I could spend more time like this with my mother this feeling is nice."
I hugged him and patted his head.
"Leo it's alright don't need to worry about it, I'll always be here for you, it's time for bed"
He nodded his head and went to his room, turned out the lights and fell asleep. I was about to do the same when I replied to Kanashi's message.
.... "Hi Kanashi, I'll be available Sunday can't wait to see you again, "
