He opened his eyes, startled. He was butt naked, right in the middle of a freezing mountain peak. He shivered a bit, sneezing. He searched his mind for a clue, anything to identify who he was but came up empty.
It was truly frustrating. He could identify everything around him just by touch but he couldn't remember who he was.
He sighed and started to make his way down the mountain. By the time he got to the foot on the mountain, he was in a horrible condition. He could barely stay awake. It made him wonder how he got up there in the first place.
He crashed on the floor and lost consciousness. A hunter found him like that and took him up. His blackish red hair stood out alongside his pretty eyes. The hunter put him on his mount and took him away.
The two journeyed into the plains to a remote settlement. The hunter took care of this stranger for a while before he woke up.
"Are you alright?"
"Hun? Where am I?"
The two spoke but none understood what the other said. To be specific, they were speaking different languages.
The hunter put his hand on the stranger's forehead and the stranger understood at that moment, the language the hunter was speaking.
"Can you understand me?" the hunter asked, worriedly.
"Yes. Where am I?"
"Covi Village. I'm Ilan, a hunter. What's your name?"
"Les.....Lesker. Did you bring me here?"
"I did. I found you passed out at the foot of a mountain. How did you get there?"
"I....I don't know. I seem to have lost my memories. I hate to admit it but I'm terrified"
"Hey, don't worry too much about it. I saved you so I'm capable of taking care of you till you can stand on your own two feet"
"Thank you so much Ilan. I appreciate it"
"Ah, you're welcome"
Lesker smiled and ate the broth the hunter gave to him. The abilities he had, his circumstances, his appearance, all of them were a mystery but he was glad to find someone who was good to him.
It made him feel warm, despite how cold the day was.
