A slight breeze blew through my hair as I watched the sun slightly peek from the clouds which were gathering. An ominous feeling filled me as we watched the distance between us and the ship ahead decline.
Baron lent me his telescope earlier as I looked towards the horizon. There was no one on the deck. The wheel itself didn't have a captain behind it. The ship was not large but bigger than ours. That much I could tell. Based on the intricate designs and the words painted on the sails, I could tell it was a Spanish ship. There was a mermaid on the front of the ship, signifying nobility. The captain must be of some high family. Just looking at the ship I could tell that the owner oozes gold.
