I walked down the corridor hurriedly as I looked for Baron. I have to tell him about what happened with the Marquis quickly. Once again I knocked on the doors in the corridor. I need to ask the Marquis for a map of the mansion later.
"Sorry Miss Mila but this is the servant's quarters."
I curtsied as I continued to knock on doors.
"Are you okay Miss Mila?"
I shook my head at Josh and Ash.
"Do you guys know where Baron is?"
Josh and Ash quickly looked at each other before smirking. Ash then said.
"We saw him in the kitchen earlier. He looked really hurt."
Josh smiled then chimed in.
"Ash is right. Baron was holding his stomach as he sat down on one of the chairs. The maids were running around trying to bring him medicine."
My heart clenched. Josh then put his hand on my left shoulder while Ash put his hand on my right shoulder. They smiled as they said in unison.
"We'll take you to where Baron is."
