Chapter 6 - The Thing

Emica and I went to the right side and Chuck, Kujo, and Issa went in the other direction. Emica asks me "why didn't we stick with Chuck and them? Also, you should've not accepted his challenge." I replied, "I want to see if he's a man of his word. Also to see if that thing is gonna go after them." Emica replied "what if it does and kills them this time? What are you gonna do then?" I look at Emica and replied "fine then we will go with them." I turn around and stop, focus on my breathing and muscles. I felt the air and blood rushing inside my body. I felt this energy inside started and get pump up. I open my eyes and felt light like I could fly right now.

I ran in their direction and soon caught up with them around 30 minutes later. They were just at a park for some reason, I don't know why but the park looked familiar. I then realized it was the same park where Emica confessed to me. I look around and they were fine, but they were in a circle formation. I thought they were playing around, but when I saw their faces they look paled and scared. I look around for something to get their attention and found a rock. I pick it up and roll it next to Chuck. Chuck got scared and jump, he looks at the rock and looks where it came from. He saw me and was about to say something. I interrupt him by putting my hand up and wave it. I let Emica down slowly and got my phone out. I went to Snapchat and call Chuck and he answered. I ask Chuck quietly through the phone "what's happening? Why are you guys in a circle formation? You guys found it?" Chuck replied quietly "While we ran this direction we heard that same scream as that thing made back then. So we came to this place and formed a circle so we could protect each other's back. We don't know where it is. We just heard it and nothing happened since we heard that scream." I replied quietly "alright then Emica and I will search for it then you guys stay here and look out ok? Also if you guys see it yell or shout my name out. No wait we'll still be on the call so I could be able to hear you guys." Chuck replied quietly "alright then be safe bro and take care don't do anything rash and dumb. Also, you better come back alive and unharmed bro."

I nodded to him, pick Emica up, and ran to the right. I ran and stop because I saw a creature that looks like what Kujo described. It had a horn, dragon-like wings, a huge strong body, a tail that was like a sword. It had spikes under its arm and back, the teeth were sharp and white. But I couldn't confirm if it was it because I had to look at the eyes. Kujo told me it had red, black, and purple in its right eye. Also, the left eye had blue, white, purple in it too. So I slowly went up to it and stop. I look down to see if Emica was ok, Emicas eyes were red. Emica looks as if she were ready to charge at that thing. I held Emica close to me and whisper next to her ear "calm down Emica, don't scare it away we need to see if that thing is the one that attacked Chuck and them. If it's not it, we will still kill it because no animal looks like that. If they do we will end their suffering for good." Emica eyes slowly turn back to normal after hearing me talking and holding her. I let her go and whisper next to her ear "stay here I will kill it ok?" Emica replied, "ok be careful Rikki."

I smile at her and went to the creature. I got my sword ready, I slowly approach behind the creature. It didn't sense me from behind, I got my sword out as careful as I could. "Click" the creature turn around, so I pulled out my sword as fast as I could. It roared and raised its huge claw and tried to scratch me. I got my sword out in time and cut its claw off. It roared in rage and hit the right side of my false ribs with its tail. I flew to a nearby tree and hit my back against the tree and hit the floor. I got up with my sword and touch the right side of my false ribs. I look at my hand and it had blood on it. I was confused because I didn't feel pain, so I just stood still close my eyes, and focus. I focus on my breathing, my blood flowing, and my muscles. I open my eyes and that thing was there looking down at me. I look up and saw it had red, black, and purple in its right eye. Also, the left eye had blue, white, purple in it too. I said to it "so your that thing that attacked Chuck and then am I right? Well, your gonna regret attacking because I'm gonna finish you off for good." It surprisingly replied it said "S-S-SO y-you think you c-can b-beat me? I am Homura, the captain of team 7!" I was shocked that he replied, so I ask him "Why did you attack Chuck and them? What did they do to you?" He replied, "I don't know why I did it, to be honest, I just felt like I had to do it." I replied "Why? Why did you felt like it? Did something tell you to?" He replied, "yes something inside my head was telling me to do it." I ask "so what are you going to do now then?" He replied, "I'm going to find those people and kill them because something telling me to do it." I got up and jump back and pointed my sword at him. He laughed and said "so you are going to kill me then huh? Well young man I won't die easily, be ready." He got on all fours his wings stretch out and began to flap and flew at me. I fell back on the ground purposely and made my sword go up. Homura dodges it and flew up. I got up instantly and looked up and couldn't see a thing except for sunlight. Then all of a sudden it's dark I thought to myself "what happened? Why is it dark? No this is Homura shadow!" I look back and see Homura diving straight at me I stab my sword in the ground. I put my right arm straight forward and my left arm about five inches below my right arm. Homura stretches his left claw at me while diving straight at me. I wait patiently until he's close enough for me to grab and throw. He gets closer and closer each second. I keep my eyes on him, I see him open his mouth and I saw red and orange inside. I thought to myself "red? What the heck is he doing?" So I stood there in my position waiting for him. He closed his mouth and smoke came out of his nostrils and I realized it was FIRE!! It was too late for me to think about another move, so I just had to do go along with my first plan. Homura came close enough, I grab his left arm and threw him on the ground. I quickly got my sword and stab his left hand and my sword went through his hand and into the ground. BOOM!! I feel a hot ball hit my stomach. I'm sent flying and flew past Chuck and them.

They saw me flying past them and ran in my direction. As I flew by them I look up and see Homura struggling to get my sword out of his hand. I look to my right and Chuck, Kujo and Issa shouted my name and ran to me. I feel dizzy and feel like I'm going to throw up. I look more to my right and see Emica there. I focus on her and see tears and I can see her eyes were half normal and half red. They were slowly turning fully red, I force myself to turn around still flying in mid-air. I close my eyes and focus on my muscles and the flowing of the blood inside me. I form a fist with my right hand, open my eyes, and punch a wall in time and it was right in front of me. I sent myself flying back and I flew past Chuck and them again and I yell "don't worry I got this believe me!!" Chuck and them replied, "alright then we will!!" I turn around, form a dragon claw with my right hand, and a tiger claw with my left hand.

I see Homura is still struggling to try to get my sword out of his hand. I went straight towards Homura and he sees me but reacts too slow. I bring up my dragon claw [right hand] under his throat and stab through his throat. I bring up my tiger claw [left hand] over to the left side of his head and scratch his left eye. Homura is roaring in pain shaking around so I would let him go. I shout at him "looks like your gonna die soon Homura. You better do something before it's too late." Homura doesn't reply but roars louder. My ears start to feel like if they were bleeding. I didn't care so I focus on my arm and hand muscles. I grip and dig in more inside of Homura throat. I get my tiger claw [left hand] and was about to scratch his right eye until I felt like something went through my stomach. I look down and Homura tail is THERE!?! I noticed he stop roaring, so I look up at him. He smiled showing off his white sharp teeth. I started to feel heat from my right hand. I look at it and see orange and red like liquid dripping from his throat. So I get my right and left leg and kick the side of his head multiple times. He let his tail out of my stomach and I spit out tons of blood. I let him go and land on my feet. Homura and I are just moving around tipping from side to side trying to keep our balance together. I slowly go forward towards Homura. He gets his tail high over his head and tries to strike me but misses and stabs the ground instead. I form my right hand into an eagle claw and charge forward at Homura, but I accidentally lean to the left side and slip and fall on the ground. He laughs and said "I thought you were gonna kill me huh? What happened? Look I did something now it's your turn to do something before you die RIKKI!!!!" I somehow managed to stand up. I look to my right and Emica is there and her eyes were almost all red. I smile at her and put thumbs up and her eyes slowly turn normal again. I look back at Homura and his face is right in front of my face. I think his face is just maybe three or five inches away from my face. He smiles and said "what if I kill your girl instead of your friends huh? Wait no since I'm feeling happy so here are two choices to choose from. Number one is I can kill your friends and your girl and you survive and unharmed. Number two is I kill your girl and you and your friends survive unharmed. Now choose RIKKI!!! Their lives depend on you!" He starts to laugh and I started to laugh and I said to him "I choose the third option, which is I kill you. So we all survive except for you, YEAH! I like the sound of that let's do that instead." He stops laughing and gets his tail up and makes it strike at me, but I reacted fast enough. I yanked my sword out of his arm and chop his tail off. He's roaring in pain again I laugh and said, "goodbye Homura it was nice fighting you I am honored." I jump up and do a three-sixty, while I was doing that three-sixty I focused all my strength on my arms. I strike his head and it comes off, but he grabs me with his left hand and is crushing me. He surprisingly only breaks the right side of my false rib. Soon he lets me go because he used all of his strength just to grab and crush me.

I lose consciousness and fall into Emicas arm, she's crying and just hugs me close against her. Chuck and them run over to us, Chuck shouts at Kujo and Issa "let's carry Rikki to the hospital ASAP!!!" They try to get me but Emica pushes them away and they see red inside her eyes. They back off and Chuck said to Emica in a calming voice "Emica, please Rikki going to die if he doesn't get to the hospital. We need to hurry before he dies and I know that you don't want him to die. Also, you just hugging him won't do any good sadly so please." Emica replies in a sad scared voice "no no no Rikki won't die. I will keep him alive no matter what, just bring me new clothes for him and hurry up." Chuck replies "ok we will then." He looks at Kujo and Issa and says "let's go!" They run to my house and Emica still has me in her arms.

Emica just cries and holds me close to her. I get conscious and wake up. I see Emica crying and I say to her "Emica what happened? Why are you crying? Who did it I will beat them up or even kill them please tell me? Ow, my ribs and stomach." Erica replies in a sad, scared, worried voice "I thought you died [sob sob sob] please stay with me don't leave me. I have no one else to go to. [sob sob sob sob] You're the only family I have so please don't go. [sob sob sob sob sob sob]" I bring my hand up and pat Emica head and say, "don't worry I won't die and I will never leave you behind I promise." I smile at her and kissed her lip. She was surprised and let me go. I stop and got my sword, stab it into the ground and pull myself up. I got the sword out of the ground and focus my energy on the sword. I could feel something inside the sword spiritually. I feel it slowly enter my body and it goes through my veins and blood circuit. I slowly feel better and feel my strength coming back. My right ribs and stomach slowly feel better. I stop when I don't feel any pain. I see Emica there on her knees crying. I stab my sword into the ground and walk over to her. I grab her and held her tight and kiss her forehead. I whisper next to her ear "don't cry I'm here and I won't leave you, so cheer up, please. I don't want to see you crying because I will be sad and mad." Erica replies "I'm crying because you're alive and are all better now." So I just kiss her and held her tight close to me.

Chuck and them came back with my new clothes, I stop and look at Chuck and them. I ask them "where'd you guys go? You guys okay? Why you guys leave Emica alone?" Chuck yells "Emica didn't let us carry you to the hospital!! She said she will heal you!! She told us to go get you new clothes at your house and so we did! Here change into your new clothes you look like crap right now man!" I let Emica go and walk towards him. I walk back to Emica and whisper next to her ear "follow me." Emica nods and followed me, my right hand felt weird.

I noticed that thing that went through my veins and blood circuit went back to the sword. My sword flew out of my hand and went and stab into Homura head and body, It also got his right arm as well. Homura head and body were like getting melted and suck inside my sword. Well it looks like it was but I didn't know what to do, so I just watched it. After all of Homura head and body disappear, I pick up the sword and felt a wave of energy go inside my body. I heard Homura voice inside my head, he said "oh I see so this is your sword skill huh? Well nice to know that you are my master now. I am honored to be able to fight again and with you as my master." I was confused and said out loud "HOMURA!?!?! Where are you?!?" I see a red and green energy flow out of my sword. It took form and it was Homura?!? Chuck and them yelled "Rikki!! Watch out!!" I got my sword ready to battle. Homura laughed and said "calm down Rikki I am not your enemy no more. I am a servant or an easier way to put it, think of me as a pet." I laugh and replied, "oh okay then I will then, also Homura welcome back then." He laughed and replied, "yeah glad to be back and happy to be a pet of yours, Master Rikki." I ask Homura "so can you come out of my sword anytime or do I need to summon you? Also, can you go back inside the sword, or do I need to order you to retreat?" He replied "yes I can pretty much go in and out whenever I want, but that is upon you though. If you don't let or want me out I won't go out. Also, it works for the same as if I wanted to go back inside." I nodded and Homura went back inside the sword.

I walk forward and got my cover for my sword, then walk back to Emica and carry her. I yelled to Chuck and them "Hey!! Let's get something to eat and relax for the day!" They all shouted "Yay!!! Yes sir finally!" I laugh and we all went to a restaurant.
