Somewhere around in the south of Arwana.
Many riders are on their horses towards the Raya Theocracy.
"Sir!"
"What is it?"
"A scout headed towards the Gallensia has reported."
"What did he said?"
The scouts must always be the fastest and always has the best horse suited for their job. They often had to inform the others about their tracks and surroundings especially when there is a threat of an ambush. They sent the scout that reported towards the Gallensia if there are any soldiers or any threats that they could be facing since both nations are in a state of war.
"He said... There is a huge city near the battlefield. There is no reported city there before. He said that it has high walls that are made of concrete."
"What? That's not possible. There is no city there before."
"Sir Tal. What should we do?"
"Order everyone that we would head there. It will likely take us weeks towards the Theocracy. It is far more efficient since it will only take us a few days there. If an anomaly is there. That should be connected to the death of General Isaac."
"I see. I will inform everyone."
The scout didn't really go that far from them. He just saw it through the distance. But it is still the fact that that scout has the best horse among them.
The scout managed to see that far because they are a bit on the high ground. Though it doesn't change the fact that it is hundreds of kilometers away. And the also reason he saw it is because there are no obstacles along with his vision.
The riders have turned towards that high walls that took them three days.
On their arrival at the main gate. There is a single person guarding it. He only sits in front of a huge metallic gate that seems to be extremely durable. He has black hair and they couldn't see his eyes since he is looking down.
"Who are you?"
"... May we look inside?"
"You're from Arwana?"
"Yes. But we don't want a fight. You're from the Gallensia isn't the right? How did this place build? It is only a week the last time we had a report of the place around here."
"No. We are not part of Gallensia."
"What? Then..?"
"We are the Suzuki Magedom."
"Magedom? Sorry. But we haven't heard about it."
"There's no need for you to know, after all."
"Why? Don't worry. It is the Gallensia we are on war with. We don't want to bring harm to you."
"Get out of here."
"But... We only wanted to look inside."
The person finally shows his face. He has black eyes that scare them by the way he looks.
"Degen. Don't be like that. They said they don't want to do anything to us. Right!?"
"Shut up. Mello."
The huge metallic gate has opened upwards
They really didn't get along since a few days ago. Whenever Takao needs something or he needs someone to do things for him. These two are always fighting on who's gonna do it.
They both wanted to work on every Takao's will. That is the reason they don't get along. For their master's or King's bidding.
Mello decides to walk and go on Degen's left side. Behind him is a wall since they are between the gate.
"Come on. Stand up. Let them pass. Master will get mad at you."
"I don't trust these people."
"But you can't kill them either."
As he is about to touch Degen's shoulder.
He dematerializes into a shadow and pinned Mello to a wall. As he materialized, he immediately created a Kama on his right hand and point it on Mello's throat.
"What are you doing?"
All the thirteen riders are freaked out about Degen's ability.
"I hate you, Mello. I don't need you ordering me. You always took my spot on my King's side"
"What? You're blinded by your loyalty."
"Aren't you too?"
"I am loyal to him. But not to this extent."
"..."
"Get off me and let them pass. You are not even the person stationed here right?"
"So what? I don't want any threats coming here."
"Threats? Do you think they are much of threats? Hahaha!"
"Don't you dare laugh at me."
As he is about to put an end to Mello by slashing his throat. A sudden tip of spear stops it.
"What?"
Tal exclaimed.
Everyone is confused about what happened. Nobody is here a while ago besides those two and them. Still. This person appeared out of nowhere.
What are they?
"Don't you dare fight. Look. We had visitors. You will have that manner right now? Stop fighting with each other. You are not kids anymore."
"Yeah. You even have a wife Degen, you know?"
"..."
Degen stops and his shadow kama disappeared.
"Martin. What brings you here?"
"Takao just said that we had visitors. So I came here as a result."
"Haha. As expected of master."
"... Excuse me!"
"Hey. What is your deal here?"
"Ah... Can we talk to somebody here? We only wanted to talk. We are investigating somethings around here."
"You could talk to me."
"I am sorry. But if possible. Can I talk to your King?"
"Our King? Why is that?"
"I am personally dispatched by King Arwana. Please. Let me."
"I see. Come inside. We had a place for these kinds of meetings."
They proceed inside since the gate is already up.
Though, they don't know how it goes up.
As they walked further inside. They saw people everywhere and they looked really happy even though they are in the middle of a war between two nations.
They must be confident about their leader.
The person that guides them. Martin. Has guided them first to a stable. The Mello left Degen alone on the gate first when Martin goes to guide them.
"Shouldn't you have to put your horses to the stables first?"
"Ah. Yes. Everyone."
"We also prepared food."
"Thank you."
"How about your scouts? Shouldn't you bring them along too?"
"Um... Yes. Hey you. Call the scouts."
There are four scouts among them. One is sent in this direction while the others are scouting for their path.
The person left to the gate and signals the scouts to come.
