The Second Step required the quenching of herbs, in which the herbal essence would be slowly extracted from them and the toxic parts in them would be separated.
This was the process where the green flame helped, as they would help in the extraction of poison more easily and quickly.
The third process was the process in which the different Herbal Essence had to be combined and coagulated without causing miscellaneous discord between them.
This was the process where most of the Alchemy apprentice was having a problem but once this process was over the 4th process was comparatively easier, it was the formation of the Dan which was the pill which was consumed.
In this process after the herbs were mixed together, they had to be compressed to take the form of a pill.
Once the pill making process was over the whole Alchemy process was completed.
But the main problem in this was problems which may arise at the third and the fourth process of the alchemy as compressing the pill and mixing the Herbal Essence was quite hard.
