CHAPTER 392: DECISIONS

Jerome scurried toward his wife to catch her body before she made contact with the floor. He held her in one of his arms while the other softly shook her shoulder.
"Mely!" Jerome's eyes were bloodshot as he panicked to see his wife lose consciousness. As guilt stabbed his chest, the back of his head scolded him non-stop, blaming himself if his wife's condition worsened.
Jerome stood on his feet. Carrying Mely in his arms, he strode to the elevator, yelling at Korin. "Press the button, Korin!"
"Ye—yes, Uncle Jerome!" Korin sprang to her feet and followed the couple. She pressed the button and scurried inside, holding the door.
"Call the doctor, Korin!" Jerome brought his wife back to her ward. After he placed her with care on the bed, he ordered Korin to get a doctor to check on Mely.
