Chapter 1 - It is never too late.

My name is Arata Hozuki, I am.... I'm a jobless failure.

It's been a year since I've lost almost everyone I cared about. My mom, she was the last person on earth who understood me and my dad he barely had any affections for me. All he cared about was his reputation and pride... He didn't even try to understand how I felt. And now, it turns out that I'm the biggest failure that had, has and will ever exist. Looks like my dad's decisions for me weren't for my success but for his reputation. I've been jobless for 3 years after my graduation.

Society's taunts keep echoing in my mind, saying that I'm a disgrace for my parents. I always hoped that there'll be an encouraging voice within them, that will make me wanna try once again but there was never one...

One night, when I returned home after having a long day applying for jobs and attending interviews, I felt a sudden rush in my house though there was no one in there. That night I just couldn't sleep. I got worried about my life for the first time. I questioned myself, was this the life I was destined for? will I ever attain success? The thought that I was dependent on my brother financially , often crushed me but that night it crushed me to an extent that I never experienced. I rushed off my bed, took my laptop and searched for a new job. Another website popped in then, saying ''writers needed! Upload a sample draft of your creativity along with your details.'' , and that was just enough to grab my attention, cause I've always wanted to be a journalist but this dream of mine was left aside cause in my dad's point of view it was so small that he could hardly see it.
