Tang Lin looked in the tall mirror. She wore a grey bikini and she felt embarrassed.
'Should I just back out now while I still can?' She thought.
The sun was already going down and there weren't much people on the beach.
She thought, 'Whatever. It'll be dark. He won't see me clearly anyways.'
Tang Lin wore a long black sundress that she could easily take off when they went swimming.
When she walked out of the closet, she saw her fiancée wearing a white t-shirt with gray shorts.
"Let's go. It's going to get cold soon. We better hurry!" Tang Lin said as she put her arm around her fiancée's arm and they went on the elevator. They quickly left the hotel and went into the beach. They could hear the crashing waves.
Lu Shen was holding two towels and Tang Lin's slippers, so she could be barefoot and walk easier in the sand. Tang Lin was holding a mat to use whenever they wanted to sit down.
The breeze blew her sundress and she looked breathtaking when the light of the sunset shone on her.
When they got closer to the water, Lu Shen took the mat from her arms and set it on the sand. Then, he put the items that were in his hands onto the mat.
Tang Lin felt cold when she took off the sundress and she shivered. She thought, 'Was this a good choice?'
But then, she turned to her right and she saw her shirtless fiancée with grey shorts. Their swimsuits matched.
Her feet immediately left the ground and she was in Lu Shen's arms. She felt him running and entering the water.
"Oh my gosh! It's so cold! What the heck?! Lu Shen! I'm going to freeze to death!" Tang Lin was shivering.
She heard him laughing, so she angrily looked up and saw his dazzling face in the moonlight.
"Hey. Stop staring at me like that. I'm not sure if it's the water or your drool that dripping from your chin," Lu Shen said.
Tang Lin looked embarrassed when he caught her staring at him, but she kept on looking at him.
Lu Shen brushed her cheek with his hand and sighed, "You look so beautiful. Fortunately, no other people are here to look at you. You're all mine." He seductively smiled at her.
Tang Lin blushed as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. Lu Shen naturally put his arms around her bare waist and returned the kiss.
After their lips pulled away from each other, Tang Lin hugged him tightly.
"It's so cold! How can you stand the freezing water?" Tang Lin hugged him tighter for warmth.
"Alright! Alright. We'll go back in. We'll just swim tomorrow or another day when it's warm," Lu Shen lifted her up and carried her to the shore. She was shivering in his arms and hugging him tightly.
Lu Shen set her on the mat and wrapped a towel around her. He hugged her, so she could get warm faster, since she was shivering a lot.
Lu Shen never minded the cold his whole life, so he didn't mind swimming in the cold sea. However, his fiancée wanted to go back to the hotel, so he had to follow her orders, like an obedient husband.
Tang Lin fell asleep in his arms after she dried up and put her sundress back on. He carried her back to the hotel and the receptionist saw them enter.
The receptionist could speak Chinese fluently, so she greeted Lu Shen in their language.
Lu Shen spoke to the lady, "Could you please open the elevator door for me? I'm unable to do so, since my wife is sleeping. I wouldn't want to wake her up."
"Of course," the receptionist said as she pressed the button for the elevator door to open. The exclusive elevator only went to one floor, so when Lu Shen and Tang Lin got in, the elevator went up all the way to their room.
Tang Lin's eyes were closed when she said, "I heard what you said earlier. It's 'fiancée', not 'wife'!"
"You're awake? Dear fiancée, you're going to be my wife sooner or later, so it doesn't matter. Now, go back to sleep!"
Tang Lin was feeling really exhausted, so she immediately fell asleep after he said that.
Lu Shen laid her on the bed and was about to leave to go sleep on the couch when he saw that she was having a bad nightmare. She was kicking her feet and waving her arms in the air.
He ran quickly to her side and when he touched her hand, she suddenly stopped moving and she held onto him. He tried pulling it away from her, but she wouldn't let go, so he decided that he would just lay besides her until she let go. Then, he accidentally fell asleep.
Tang Lin woke up around noontime and saw Lu Shen laying besides her on the bed. It wasn't surprising that they slept for so long, considering the fact that they slept around two o'clock in the morning.
Her fiancée's face seemed so calm and innocent when he was asleep. But really, he was a arrogant narcissist that played around a lot.
She pecked his lips and sat up. When she was about to go make breakfast, Lu Shen pulled her back onto the bed.
"Stay here with me for a bit." He hugged her and Tang Lin was unable to free herself from his embrace.
"Hey! Why did you sleep here last night? Why didn't you sleep on the couch?" She asked.
Lu Shen smirked and asked, "Why did you take advantage of me when I was sleeping? Whatever you say is also what I think too."
"You're my fiancée! I have the right to kiss you!" Tang Lin defended herself.
"Well then, you're also my fiancée! I have the right to sleep next to you! By the way, we have slept next to each other in the past. This is not a new thing." He replied back.
Tang Lin felt defeated.
"Whatever! I'm going to make food!"
Lu Shen once again pulled her down and said, "Stay here with me! I'll call a chef to come up to cook for us later."
"A chef? You want to borrow a busy professional just to cook for us?"
"I'm paying him five times his salary, so it's worth it for him."
"Damn, five times his salary? I chose a rich ass fiancée! I made the right decision!" She patted herself on the back.
Lu Shen laughed at her. "You're right. You chose the wealthiest person in Beijing. Be proud of yourself!"
He continued, "Also, women shouldn't curse. Be more courteous with your words."
Lu Shen thought that Tang Lin was cute when she cursed, but he thought that other people wouldn't think the same as him, so he warned her.
"It's not like I'm cursing in front of a crowd. I already know you don't mind it because of that big smile on your face when I say it."
"Okay. Just don't say them in front of our parents."
Lu Shen kissed her on the forehead and hugged her tightly.
His phone lit up and there was a message notification. The message was from Li Gong, Lu Shen's assistant.
"Boss. There's a big problem. You and Miss Tang Lin need to come back immediately."
