Zheng Ren sighed as he handed the hospital admission form to the patient. He wanted to return to the office but was worried that something might happen to the old man. As such, he could only find a wheelchair, inform the nurse, and push him to the counter to pay the hospital deposit.
"Chief Doctor Zheng, you're such a nice person," the old man said.
"Old man, my name is Zheng Ren. I'm the emergency department's chief resident. The other doctors call me Chief Zheng," Zheng Ren explained patiently.
"Oh, I see." The old man continued, "Nowadays, there aren't many doctors like you."
"I don't think so," Zheng Ren said. "Most doctors are similar to me, old man."
Zheng Ren wanted to ask the old man where his family was. Judging from his expression and tone beforehand, he did not look like a widower or a lonely old man.
