"Give me your hand, Aiden. I have something to show you something." I take his hand. It's soft yet callused. Slowly I guide it to my chest then place one hand on his. My heart beats faster. Pit-a-pat, pit-a-pat! I take a deep breath, my chest rises and falls.
We stay there for a moment, taking a minute to relax; yet our hearts beat faster. Soon our hearts beat so loud we can hear them, each in unison; and I know he feels the same. We get closer, soon the gap between us vanishes, and we kiss.
Our lips mash together, slowly at first. His lips are so smooth. They taste like a sunset. I want them. I want them bad! I moan as I nibble them, careful not to hurt them. I don't want to hurt him. We exchange saliva as we battle our tongues.
Passionately, he holds me. I can feel the energy between us. It's static. It flows through us and in us and around. We're glowing from the intensity of it. Literally. We're glowing!
This is love. This is real. We. Us. Together. When I'm with him, all my pain goes away, like I belong. It feels right.
As the force of our kiss grows, the light does too. The newfound power is like nothing we've ever felt before. So great is the power that our prior injuries disappear, healing almost instantly.
We dance for about an hour, replenishing our bodies. We had to stop. We have a world to save, remember.
As we part lips, the light we generated starts to fade. Our skin returns to normal once again.
