After a few minutes of digesting the information that was just uploaded into her brain, Mo Ning began to wonder about another thing.
How come her mother told her so much but didn't even tell her her father's name?
She waited a while more, hoping she didn't have to ask before he other told her but it seemed she was fighting a losing battle so she had to bite the bullet herself.
" Uh... Mom why didn't you say my father's name? " She asked looking up at her mother from her position in her chest.
" Oh that. I just wanted to save the best for last plus you have to be mentally prepared for this piece of information. " Mo Xiaye said a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Oh come on!
That was all Mo Ning could think about. Was she expecting her to guess?
" Why do I have to be mentally prepared? Do I know him? "
" No but he's... " And then Mo Ning cuts her off halfway.
" Alright is he a celebrity? "
" Sort of. He's..... " cuts her off again.
" Really? Is he an actor, singer or what? "
" No he's none of those he's just.... " and again.
" But you.... " And then Mo Xiaye has enough and cuts Mo Ning off.
" If you would just let me speak, you wouldn't have to keep guessing. " She said letting out a sigh at finally being able to complete a sentence without any interruptions.
" Sorry. I just got too excited that's all. " Mo Ning said a sheepish grin on her face.
" it's alright. So much for wanting to build the suspense. " Mo Xiaye said whispering the last part.
" Alright.... Your father is Zhou Ting. "
And then Mo Ning freezes in place. Her eyes as wide as saucers and mouth hanging open. It was as if a huge bomb has just been exploded right in her face.
Her brain was definitely working overtime trying to process the information it just received.
And boy was it having a hard time.
Instead of sitting there enjoying the comical expression of her daughter, Mo Xiaye gently took her phone from the table in front of them trying as best she could not to startle Mo Ning. After successfully getting the phone, she directly goes to the camera function and took a picture of her daughter's expression.

That drew Mo Ning out of her stupor. Although she was still disoriented, she was no longer frozen in place.
