The next day after the incident with the landlord, Mo Ning decided to start looking for another apartment.
She decided that even though she couldn't afford a high class apartment with the best security, for now she would look for an apartment that was more secure than the previous one.
The whole day was dedicated to looking through apartments. She didn't know when next she would have the chance to, since she was still busy filming, so she wanted to get everything over and done with.
The first apartment she visited,was located in the same part of the city where they were currently living but it had an elevator which was a plus compared to the one they were living in which only had stairs. The apartment was on the fourth floor of the building and there were four apartments on each floor.
The apartment had a living room and two bedrooms with a toilet in the middle of the bedrooms which was further joined together by a door from each bedroom.
Which meant that from the bathroom, you could go to the next room without having to go out first and vice versa.
The apartment also contained a small kitchen. Which couldn't house many kitchen equipments.
After looking at the apartment,Mo Ning concluded that she didn't want it because it was more of an apartment for college students sharing, than for a family.
They ruled that one out and then went to another one which was slightly close to downtown. From the location alone, she already found the apartment a better option but she decided to see the inside first before deciding.
The apartment wasn't very big nor was it very small. It was just the perfect size,with three bedrooms, and two toilets one in the master bedroom and the other in the corridor.
The size of the kitchen wasn't bad either. It could fit a few kitchen equipments and there would still be enough workspace.
The price wasn't too bad for an apartment which was close to downtown. To buy the apartment was two hundred and eighty thousand yuan.
Which wasn't a bad deal since she could afford it now and they wouldn't have to pay rent, which meant they could save a little more money.
Mo Ning decided to settle for this one and paid the down payment of one hundred and eighty thousand yuan since she had two hundred thousand now. She decided to pay the rest after the shooting of the movie when she had received her remaining two hundred thousand yuan.
She was extremely happy because she didn't have to give the company any percent from this job because they agreed that since she got the job and settled it before joining the company, the entire salary was hers.
Now she could buy this apartment and still have more than a hundred thousand yuan.
Mo Ning also decided that once she gets the remaining money and completed the payment for the apartment, she would keep eighty thousand yuan aside so that she could save more to it and then discuss with her mother on what kind of business they should open so that her mother wouldn't have to continue labouring hard and earning peanuts in return.
Maybe this was the change she felt was going to take place when she accepted this job she couldn't tell;but she did know that whether it is or not, she felt immense joy.
The landlord's provocation turned out to be a catalyst that made her change their living environment faster and for the better.
Between searching for an apartment and finally finding one and then settling the payment and other procedures in one day, Mo Ning was very tired. But she decided to share her joy with her mom so she wouldn't worry about the apartment issue anymore.
She took the papers of the apartment, snapped some photos of them with her phone ;which by the way she decided needed to be changed soon, and then sent them to her mother along with a text message saying she would see her the next day.
