"OH MY GOD ONYX CAN DO THE SNAKE VOODOO!"
Tyler makes a face full of contempt towards Hazal as he says, dripping with annoyance, "Not funny Hazal."
His body is made to relax from my healing arts as a soft glow appears from his wounds, completely lighting up his grey shirt.
Finishing the spell, I see Hazal looking at the light with great interest, it's to bad she isn't compatible with healing arts otherwise I'd teach her. All that's left is to wait a few minutes for the divine power to channel through his system...
I raise my head from his shoulder and stretch out towards Hazal.
Her sight shifts from Tyler's body to my head, "Do you want to come to Mommy for cuddles?"

I freeze in my position, aghast, I stare at her.
"PFFT HAZAL! YOU CAN CREEP EVEN A SNAKE OUT!"
Pouting, Hazal retorts, "Shut up you can't know that."
I shift back to a Mexican Kingsnake and slip down to the ground, making my way to Hazal, she crouches down as my head touches her ankle.
Slipping into her hood, Hazal asks, wiggling her eyebrows, "So. Did she unlock your latent lizard man DNA?"
I'm not food so I can't do that.
Tyler starts to yell, "No way! I can't be a lizard! That's worse than-"
"Or maybe awaken the fearsome dragon within?"
Panic quickly deflating, disappointed he calls, "Hayyzaaal..."
"Or what if! You're now contracted to be a servant for the rest of eternity!"
He wouldn't be a good servant.
With a blank look in his eyes, "Hazal. Are you done?"
Immediately saddened, Hazal grumbles,"You could have played along a little longer."
"Yeah and you would never stop."
"Meh I guess that's true."
Tyler scratches his head, starting on their way to school again, he asks awkwardly, "But uhm... so Onyx knows healing magic?"
His words renews the sparkle in Hazal's eyes, "You mean that was healing magic!" Poking my head she continues, "Do you think I could learn?"
I swing my head against her shoulder. Rather than lumin, she's more suited to scur and ferno, and I only know the basics.
"Ah. Pity." Hazal suddenly glares angrily at Tyler's back, "So she healed you?"
Started, he replies, "Uh yeah?"
"So you were injured?"
"Yeah but it wasn't to-" Stopping as he sees the shadow cast over her face.
Malice dripping out of her voice, "Now who injured you?"
Stunned, he stutters, " H-Hazal it's fine- it was mutual!"

"Mutual my ass! Was it your Dad again!?"
"No! I'm to fast for him now, he can't catch me!"
"Then who the f-"
"Dog fights."
The two words made Hazal freeze in her tracks.
