"Just as Darling said, this worm is hibernating and wouldn't awaken easily... If we are gentle enough when collecting those minerals." said Maria.

Chris is having some tea and snacks alone as Ben had gotten back to his daily work. Out of boredom, Chris put down his cup of tea and started observing his surroundings. A bit startled by Chris's action, Ruby does not dare to move, she quietly ate and swallowed that piece of cookies as Chris giggled in satisfaction.
Ben who happened to look out from the infirmary door witnessed that weird action of Chris and frowned.
"I see... His condition had indeed gotten worse. And even worse than I thought it would be." Ben murmured, he looks rather troubled.
"Uhm... Dr. Ben, is everything alright?" Silvia asked, a bit concerned as she saw Ben's troubled expression.
Dr. Ben sighed without saying anything before getting back to his work again...

Sky is carefully extracting a huge chunk of the translucent shiny solid out from the flesh wall which is actually the opened mouth of the gigantic worm-like creature.
