24th December is a special day, Christmas Eve aside, it is also the birthday of a certain person who is currently hiding in his own dressing room, refused to attend the annual ceremony for his birthday. This person is our beloved King of the almighty Kingdom, yes, that's Chris.
He doesn't like to celebrate his own birthday, or rather he doesn't like how other people celebrating his birthday while thinking of the other person's birthday. Yep, imagine having your own birthday on Christmas Eve, even for a King, you will feel like you are not the main concern, moreover, you have a similar name with that holiday and that other person that said to share the same birth date with that holiday. So Chris decided he will not attending his birthday celebration ceremony so his people can pay full attention to the holiday. Mhmm... This King can be very childish sometimes. He hides in his own dressing room, thinking no one could enter that room freely, but he is totally wrong, he forgot that he had given permission to a certain person for a full access to his rooms.
"So you really are here, Your Majesty." That sweet and gentle voice is as soothing as always. Chris is a bit surprised to see Rei but he soon realized that he is the one that gives her permission to access most parts of the Kingdom, that is including his personal space. He looks at her with a helpless look, like a little kid that gets found out by his mother after he did something wrong. Rei seated at his side, she trimmed his hair which gets slightly messy after hiding for such long hours. "Your Majesty, you really hate your own birthday?" Rei asks. "Not really, just I feel that it's meaningless, and I don't like such a formal ceremony where I need to be fully dressed up." said Chris while pointing at his formal King's attire which is really luxurious and heavy looking. "Is it because of this 'Christmas' holiday thing?" Said Rei. "Well... I would prefer they just pay full attention to that holiday they care so much instead of giving me some perfunctory actions." said Chris with a rather emotionless look. "Mmm... I understand about that. Your Majesty, you know that I know nothing about that Christmas holiday before right? So I never care about it, I only care about what this day means for you, My Lord." said Rei while holding Chris's right arm and leaning on his shoulder. "The meaning of this day huh? Actually, I don't care about it at all, but it is indeed a really meaningful day, the day when the fate gifted me the best present in my life." said Chris before kissed her forehead.

Chris and Rei continued to stay in the wardrobe room for a few minutes, then Rei suddenly found her interest in some of Chris's outfit in the wardrobe room. "Although I've been in here for a few times but I never really have a chance to see the whole place, this is my first time seeing so many types of outfits of yours, Your Majesty." said Rei while start exploring the wardrobe room. Chris laughed out a bit and smiled before standing up to become Rei's tour guide.
Chris showed Rei all of his outfits in the wardrobe room, most of them are battle suits for different occasions, Chris's personal favorite is a black overcoat with gold lining patterns, he demonstrated the amazing defensive abilities of the suit to Rei, however, another suit had drawn her attention instead, it's a clean and elegant looking white robe. "Oh... That robe is specifically for the Celestial Court, to press down their high and mighty pride." said Chris but Rei seems to be confused about Chris's words. "Haha... Well, you probably knew that our Kingdom is in bad terms with the Celestial Court, right? Interested to hear the story behind it?" Chris ask while held Rei by her shoulder.
