No, no, no, no, no! What just happened? Did I kill them? I mean, it was self defense! Right? They were gonna catch me again. Or worse, kill me. It's not my fault. I was scared. I didn't even know how I did that!
I start to cry. I go to put my hands over my ears. As I do, however, I hear the disfigured people before me move. I look up, terrified. All the men have the same stance as me, almost like a mirror.
I wave my hands. So do they. I lean in and stick my tongue out. They do too. "How is this possible?" I think to myself as I continue to test this new ability. Whatever the case may be, I know they can't hurt me anymore. Not unless I want them to, and I don't plan on it any time soon. This newfound power is strange. It feels like an extension of myself.
I stand up, no longer wanting to practice. I walk down the corridor towards the hole in the roof. As I grab the rope to the cell I was in, I look back to the zombie-like group and smile. I don't need those dummies any more and I definitely don't want them. So I send them a mental note and they follow suit, killing them selves. And then I start to climb, finally free.
Won't Jake be surprised when I pay him a visit at school tomorrow. I think he'll be so shocked, he'll just die! That is, unless I decide to play with him first. God knows I hate the guy's guts after he betrayed me and did all that crazy science stuff to me. Either way, I'm gonna make sure he pays.
I can make him do whatever I want now. They made me their experiment and never took into account the consequences of their actions. Whatever plans he and the cult had for me backfired. Badly. Now I have the power to control or kill anyone I please. I can rule the world. Just you wait and see...
