Ring... Ring... Ring... Ring
I woke up because of the noise made by my phone. I picked it up still my eyes closed. "Hello, who is this?" I spoke in a sleepy tone. "Wake up! Sleepy head!" Someone spoke from the other side of the phone. "Huh?!?!" I was confused. "Lara, I am Ashton. Remember we were about to go out today. It's 7:00 pm now. It's fine if you are not feeling well. We will go out some other day." Ashton spoke. Now, I came into my senses.
"Hey, no. I am fine. Can you please wait for me. I'll take about an hour." I said. "Umm... ok fine. I'll be outside of your house at sharp 8:00 pm. Don't be late, sweetie." Ashton said. I hung up the phone and went to the bathroom. I took a nice shower and then got dressed. I wore a red strapless one-peice with black heels. I did some light make up with it. I took my purse and went out of my room. By the time, I got ready it was already 7:55 pm.
Their was no one in the living room. I went towards the kitchen. Their was a small note by my mum. It said:
Dear sweetheart,
I am so sorry to not make you dinner as I and your dad has gone out for a small business meeting. We will be back till tomorrow's lunch. I hope you understand sweetie. Just cook whatever you want to eat. If you need something then call me or your dad.

Suddenly, my phone rang. It was Ashton. I didn't pick up his call. I went outside my house and their he was. He was in his dark blue t-shirt and black jeans. He was standing beside his black jeep. I went towards him. "Hey, Ash. So, let's go." I gave him a small smile. "Yeah, off-course. You are looking very pretty." He gave me a toothy smile of him. "You are not looking that bad of yourself." He opened the passenger seat for me. He was being a gentleman. He sat on the driver seat.
Soon, we were on the highway. We spoke about random topics. After, that it was a good type of silent. None of us spoke. After, some time we reached the club. We parked the car and headed towards the club. Inside it was really very noisy. It's not like, I don't love to go to the clubs whereas I love to do these. The reason of which I was getting irritated, was the things happened with me at the college. I really need to get John out off my fucking mind. I can't let him fuck with my mind.
"Cupcake, will you love to take a drink?" Ashton asked me. "Yeah, off-course." He nodded and towards the bar. I was watching everyone moving their hips with the beats. Everyone was happy. Suddenly, I saw someone like John dancing with Talia. I tried to focus my vision to get a proper view. It was John and Talia moving their hips with the beats. They were so close to each other. I felt tears again behind my eyes. Someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around and it was Ashton. He handed me a glass of tequila. "Thanx, Ash." I gave him a smile and drank it off. The liquid was really calming. "Let's dance." I said him. I held his hand and headed towards the dance floor.
We danced so much as if their was no tomorrow. Ashton was really an amazing guy. He was too good from John. John was a pathetic guy who don't know to respect girls. I didn't even know that it was already late untill Ash told me. Before, heading to our homes. I drank more four drinks of tequila. Ashton didn't drink much as he was about to drive.
We were back on the highway once again heading home. I was so fucking drunk. "Assshhh...you are so fucking good. I have started loving you so much now. Every girl wants to be with you." I said facing him giving him an innocent face. He suddenly stopped the car at the side of the road and faced me. "Cupcake, you are drunk. You don't know, what you are speaking right now. Anyways, you are going to forget everything tomorrow." He said giving me a small smile and was about to start the car when I held his hand.
"No, Ash. I will not forget tomorrow, what I said now. I have kept you waiting for a long time, I suppose. I don't know if you will now accept me or not, but I have started liking you a lot. The day you proposed me, you knew that I like John. But still, you proposed me. I don't want to spend my time thinking about someone, who don't gives a shit about me? If you want then, you can call me a selfish girl but I want to give us a chance. Please, Ash. Will yo-" He didn't allow me to speak any further by keeping his lips on mine. The kiss was so deep and passionate. I kissed him back with all my strength. He pulled out after some time.
"Cupcake, you don't know. How fucking happy I am. I'll do for you anything. I'll be there beside you always. Will you be my girlfriend?" Ashton said looking down to his hands. "Off-course Ash!!!! I'll be your girlfriend. Thank you so much for giving me a chance." I jumped on him giving him a tight hug. He returned my hug with equal tightness. We pulled away. He again kissed me passionately. I kissed him back. After sometime, Ashton started driving and we were once again heading to our homes.
Finally, we reached my house. I hugged him and did farewell. When I reached my door he left. It was already 11:00 pm and tomorrow was our college. I entered my house still their was no one. I went to my room and changed my clothes after taking a shower. Usually, people don't remember the things after they are drunk. But, in my case it was different.
I laid on my back between the bed and the duvet. I let the sleep consume me.
Next morning, I woke up listening the alarm clock. It was 7:30 am. My college was at 9:00 am. I quickly got up from my bed and went to take a shower. After, shower I dressed up into a dark-blue ribbed jeans with a pink sleeveless crop-top. I did some light make-up by putting only the mascara and a glossy lip-gloss. It was 8:30 am. I went out of my house and sat in the car.
After some quite 20 minutes, I reached my college. I saw Mia standing in front of my locker. She didn't see me. I gradually went towards her and gave a bear hug from behind. "Lara, you scared the fuck out of me." She said dramatically. "I know right, babe. So, what's going on?" I asked her taking my books out of my locker. "Umm....babe, what I feel is like...umm...I think Leo likes Louise." She said looking down. I faced her. "Mia, it's not like that. I feel that Leo really likes you. He is just being friendly with Louise and nothing else. Trust me, babe." I said giving her a wide smile. "I hope so. I really love him Lara. You know that right." She said giving me a small smile.
"Off-course, I know Lara. Just don't think like that. Louise is really a good girl. Her childhood was really horrible. Her mum died when she was only 5 years and her dad died in a car accident when she was 12 years old. From that age, she is living with her uncle and aunt. Her aunt always beats her like a crap, Mia. I really want to help her." I said. "I understand babe." She said and we started walking towards our class. I decided to tell Mia about me and Ashton. She has to know this as she is best friend.
"Umm...Mia...Actually, isaidyestoashtonyesterday." I said so fast. "Babe, slow down. Now, tell me." She said raising her eye-brows. "I said yes to Ashton, yesterday." I said looking down. "Whhaattt?" She fucking screamed so loud that everyone present in the corridor looked us. "Darling, stay calm. Don't scream like a shit. I don't want anyone to know it yet." I said giving her a serious face. "Finally, babe. I am so happy for you. What changed your feisty mind?" She said clapping her hands. I laughed at her behaviour, little. "I thought to give us a chance and see because I can't keep thinking about John, who don't gives a shit about me." I said giving her a small smile. She nodded and gave me a bear hug.
After, sometime we reached our class. This time we had same lecture. The class was as usual boring. We waited for the lunch time. The day was hell boring. First two lectures was with Mia but after then we had different lectures.
When I went to the cafeteria, I saw Mia, Louise, Leo, John and Tristan waiting for me. Already. I went towards them and we greeted each other. John ignored me once again. I tried to talk to Mia but saw that she was staring at Leo and Louise continuously. Leo was not talking so much to Mia. It was something weird. I was a psychology student. I was able to observe that Mia was holding her tears back.
After, the lunch we all separated and went to our respective classes. At the end of the day, Mia didn't meet me. I tried calling her but she didn't pick up. I thought that she must be busy with something. I waited for her phone call bit it never came.
Next day, after college I went to her house. Her mum told me that Mia has locked herself in her room. I knocked on her door. She told that will call me later. I thanked her mum and went to my home. I was really concerned about her. I thought that will talk to her the next morning.
Once again, next morning Mia didn't attend the college. I again tried calling her but didn't pick up the phone.
Five fucking days. Since, five fucking days. Mia didn't attend the college. Without Mia, the college became ridiculous for me. Everyone asked me about Mia but I didn't had a correct answer to it. Within these five days, everything got changed. I got to know from Tristan that Leo proposed Louise and they started dating each other. We all were shocked. We thought that Leo loved Mia but it was wrong. We even thought that they will end up together. John and Talia, too started dating each other. Seeing, John and Talia together was very painful for me. My and Mia's life had the same issue. Like, Leo never had feelings for Mia and John never loved me. Yeah, I know that me and Ashton were also dating but...I don't know. Tristan was the same play boy.
I didn't have any news of Mia. I called her mum but didn't got much information. She told that Mia hasn't got out of her room. She used to eat in her room only. After, five days. It became a week. A fucking week and my best friend didn't call me a single time. I knew that Mia was really upset with Leo and Louise but she could have called me. I missed her for fuck's sake.
It was Monday. I went to my college with no mood of talking to anyone. I went towards my locker as usual. The scenario which was in front of me made my jaw drop. It was Mia Williams for goodness's sake. I ran to her and slapped her so fucking hard. I didn't really car about the consequences. "Oh shit!!! Lara. What the heck is wrong with you?" She asked me rubbing her left cheek. "What's wrong with me? What the fuck is wrong with you? I tried calling you so much but you didn't pick up my call. You didn't even call me back. It's been a week Mia for fuck's sake and you didn't miss me. How could you do that? I was so worried about you. You don't even have any idea." I said her making an angry face. "Chill, Lara. Will you? You know, why I locked myself? Right. I was not able to see Leo and Louise together. Tristan told me that they both started dating each other." She said holding back her tears.
"I am so sorry, Mia. I can't tell you, how happy I am seeing you." I hugged her and she hugged me back. "It's alright babe. I understand. Let's go to our class. Shall we?" She asked holding my hands. "Yep, let's go."
At the lunch, everyone was shocked by seeing Mia after a week. It was little embarrassing for Mia. The thing which shocked us was that Mia was talking to Louise. They even hugged each other. I was happy seeing Mia friendly with Louise for some reason. Louise's uncle also started beating her for some reason. Leo asked her to move in with him. I thought that Mia will be upset but looking at her expression was kind of confusing.
Everything was going well untill the whole-day out of Mia and Louise.
A day before the 'whole-day out' Mia told us that she and Louise will be going going out. I, Leo, Tristan and John were really happy that Mia didn't have any grudges towards Louise.
It was Saturday, and Mia and Louise didn't attend the college as they both went out. I was eagerly waiting for them. I really wanted to know about their friendship. After, college me, John, Tristan and Leo met at my place. We were waiting to Mia and Louise. It was 8:00 pm ant still we didn't have any where-abouts of them. John was busy texting Talia. Yes, I was feeling jealous. I started texting Ashton. We started watching t.v. we waited-and-waited-and-waited but no phone call came to us. We had dinner. It was 11:00 pm when suddenly, Leo's phone rang.
"Hello, Mia. Where that hell you guys are?" He asked with a serious tone. Leo kept his phone on loud speaker, so that we all could hear. "Le-Leo, I ca-can't fi-fin-find Louise." Mia was sobbing. "What the you mean by that?" Leo asked. "I mean...I can't find her. I am searching her for an hour or so even I am trying to call her. She is not picking up my phone. I am scared. She went to the washroom and never came back." Now she was completely crying like hell. "Mia, come back. We all will find her out. Don't worry. She must have gone somewhere urgent." And he hung up the phone.
"Leo, everything will be fine. Just don't worry." I said consoling him. He let a tear slip down his cheek. He really loved Louise. I hope Louise was fine or is fine.
After, sometime Mia came. She was a crying mess. I hugged her then Tristan, John and Leo also hugged her. She told us everything in details. It was already mid-night. So, we decided to file a complaint next morning. The night was horrible for everyone. We didn't sleep at all. Mia was crying non-stop. We all were consoling her.
Next morning, we all missed our college and went to the police station. We filed a missing complaint of Louise. We informed her uncle and aunt. Her uncle was sad enough but her aunt showed no emotions. We all were searching for Louise. We even tried to call her but the phone was switched off. Leo was in trauma because his love was missing. The police tried to find her in every possible way but it all failed.
Louise was still missing since two weeks. Their was not a single clue of her. We had to move on somehow. So, we started going to the college. Leo started speaking less to everyone. We all missed Louise. I saw a change in Mia's behaviour. She started being so happy like everything was fine. Whenever we used to talk about Louise, Mia used to show attitude to us.
I somewhere felt that Mia was hiding something from us. We never told the police inspector about Mia's and Louise's cat fight. We even didn't tell them that they both were together when Louise went missing.
Louise never came back. Gradually, everything started becoming normal. I had a good relationship with Ashton. Leo was coming out of the trauma. Tristan started dating Lily. John was still dating Talia. Mia was still behind of Leo. I hoped that Louise will be fine, wherever she will be.
After, the graduation I, Mia, John, Leo and Tristan got separated for our aims in life. We all had different things to do. Ashton too got separated. We all decided that will going to meet each other after we will become quite successfull.

Now, it's been five years and their is no clue about Louise. Two years back Leo proposed Mia and they both started dating each other. It was all so hard for me to re-think all these things. Someone had once said that whenever you are alone, the past memories starts hitting you.
It was very hard for me to sleep.
Finally at around 3:00 am, I felt asleep.
