Chapter 95 - Vanilla and Cocoa.

I'm need quite the bit of information and tools to not only get an idea of what I'm doing but also how to do it. The first step is probably to kill this Raven guy, but how do I use stealth as an assassin?

Every skill works differently depending on the class, for example lets use the simple ' Roll ' skill which is developed by being trained for around 2 weeks by a combat mentor.

Swordsman will have a simple roll that I'd mainly just used for dodging, whereas if I were to use it with my sidearm they move will automatically reload it.

Stealth for my class is more like active camouflage whereas for a theif it's transparency in the skin. This doesn't account for other factors like stealth cloaks and the such.

Skills are usually activated through the mind be it magical, like turning a sword into 500 laser ones. Physically activated ones require a learned motion, like our friend combat roll. So I need to determine whether or not stealth in an assassin is magical or physical.

To be frank, its quite hard to determine how I activate these abilities... I never tried most of them or the class paired with then often, beyond what broken knowledge I do have though... is not enough. I need a silent solution as I suspect the reason a white raven would be here isn't because this is a popular inn. I mean it's quite drab.

To think through it a little bit, he might be here searching for me... or whoever inhabited this body before what ever just fucking happened.

Obviously there will be some sort of battle eventually, and using mental commands I can't see any information on the knight specifically nor tips for skills and such... this reminds me of when I started playing Starduster... I couldn't figure out alchemy for days.

I solved it then like I will solve it now, through the scientific method... kick ass and chew gum.

Since stab is probably activated by stabbing and balance is most likely a passive... I'll sneak up on the Knight when he turns around.

With a glance I peak out the door again, to my surprise the knight is standing right in front of me... facing me... and most importantly, he has his weapon drawn.

After looking at each other stunned, I briefly remembered he probably wants to kill me and I want to kill him... so I closed the door.

- " Nobody is here! "

" Come out scum, it will be easier to testify your crimes with your head on. "

- " There are two kinds of people, ones who can extrapolate meaning with a lack if data and form it into a cohesive sentence. "

With my secret strategy... using big words... I slam my shoulder into the wooden door and bust it down on top of this poor Knight bastard. While he is down I take the opportunity to stab him in the eyes.

Besides plenty of screams and grunts, he is weirdly silent after losing his HP... usually they have time to get out at least a few...

Wait... is that blood?

He's blee-

bu-

NPCs don't bleed actual blood...

Players only have small amounts, large slashes appear as just cool red lights!

Why is he bleeding then?

Is he... real?

Did I just kill a real pe-

" What's going on up there Daniel! "

... he had comrades... shit, I got to prepare...

I can probably get out of here if I make a run for it...he might of been only level whatever but If I have to fight a surplus of higher level people I might be at a disadvantage for once in my life...god damn, why is he bleeding so much?
