Chereads / [Transmigration] / Chapter 8 - Chapter-8

Chapter 8 - Chapter-8

I look at the sun in the sky while standing beside the fountain located at the centre of the market area.

Now let's see-

*Clothes that look neither too formal and nor to informal check

*A pair of designer shoes worth 11,000 valis check

*Nice smelling perfume check

*And last but definitely the most important an ample amount of money[90,000 valis to be exact]

I fell more and more assurd as I touch the bag filled with money hiding near my left chest.

Wait I brushed my teeth before coming here right?

I get flustered as I think about how I might have forgotten to brush my teeth's.

"William~~"

I hear the familiar voice and look towards its direction no longer worried about the teeths.

She's wearing a navy blue one piece with earrings to match her hair colour.

"Did you wait long~~?

"Not at all late I just came here"

"That's great"

She puts up a bright smile as she replies.

"So how do I look??"

I thought that she might ask this question and prepared a few replies in advance but I still get cold sweat after watching her expectant eyes.

"you look good--"

"Just good?"

"You look like the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my entire life"

"Hehe that's better"

I give myself a silent thumbs-up for coming up with a good enough compliment.

"So where should we go first?"

"You can leave that to me I got it all planned~~"

Clothes shop-------

"How does this look?"

"It looks good"

"How about this?

"it's gorgeous"

"what about this one?"

"Simple stunning"

"Geez~~ you keep saying the same thing~~~"

"It's because you look good in everything"

"Hehehe...."

After that we went to many different places.

"Does this hat looks good?"

"How about this shoe"

"Hey hey how does this earring look?"

"what about-----"

"what----"

"----"

It was the first time in my life that I felt glad about about not minding the amount and directly taking half of my savings.

But don't get me wrong as I actually had a wonderful experience you might think that she was taking advantage of me but in fact she was able to haggle the prices of things down so much so that I felt that I have been cheated for the last half a year by shopkeepers.

Also I got to know about the art of finding things from where you can't even imagine literally you can't imagine how she managed to pull out the best good from a pile of stuff.

It was a wonderful experience even though I want to shed a tear after felling my money bag shrunk by a considerable margin,

*Tap*Tap*

We silently wake together while holding hands and enjoying the vie of the setting sun.

"Did you have fun~~"

"yeah...it was really fun"

.

I stop mid-sentencnse as I remembered the face of Julia making the shopkeeper question his life and so I continued my sentence with a smiling face.

"He he I still got a surprise gift for you~~"

My ears perks-up as I hear the 'surprise gift'.

It couldn't be THAT could it??

My mind starts having wild imagination as I follow behind Julia.

We leave the street and enter a deserted alley.

'Damn I didn't know she was this bold'

I felt surprised as I look at the usually cheerful and shy girl walking to such a place without any hesitation.

"Were here~~"

Seriously HERE in this dark alley?? Well it's not like I have a problem....

"Julia I think that we should take it slowly and start from the beginni---"

I said these words which I clearly didn't meant at all.

"What are you blabbing all by yourself while standing there, Quickly come inside."

Due to my lecherous thoughts I forgot to notice that Julia has already made her way inside of a blacksmiths shop nearby.

"Hurry up~~"

I stare at her blankly and start doubting my life.

"Here's Your order missy"

An old dwarf hands Julia a long box made out of oak woof.

"Here's Your present William--- hurry hurry and open it up~~"

I take the box from her as I start having a feeling of anticipation coming from within me.

*Click*

A weak red light start coming out as I slowly open the lid.

"No way"

I mumble in disbelief as I look at the magical weapon in front of me.

You should know that magical weapons are super EXPENSIVE and the cheapest one is atleast 100,000 valis.

You might think that magical weapons are unreliable in real battle but let me tell you this... yes they might not be reliable but in a dire situation they can definitely change your fate and in a occupation like an adventurer it's a life saving equipment.

"I can't accept something like this"

It's way too EXPENSIVE.

"Did you not like it..."

Julia asks in a sad tone.

"NO no no in fact I love it but it's just that it's too expensive and I'm an archer I don't need this type of weapon anyway"

I reply in a hurried manner after looking at Julia's sad expression.

"So you like it"

"I do like it but that's not the prob---"

"Just accept it lad do you know how hard this young miss tried to get it made for you"

The dwarf standing behind the counter interjects.

"But--"

"You Don't like it..."

"Just accept it already"

After some more persuasion I finally decide to accept the magic sword.

We went our separate ways after saying our goodbyes.

*pop*

' I'll buy her something as well. '

I drop on my bed as I make a silent note to myself while looking at the magical sword beside me.

Little by little my eye lids starts dropping as I fall asleep.

It was definitely the most relaxing night of my dungeon career.
