After saying his farewell to the three ladies, Li Huailin rushed toward the south gate. Before today, Li Huailin had never gone through the south gate. He found that it was completely different from the east gate and north gate, outside the south gate, the terrain soon changed. At first it was an open grassland. Occasionally, some Level 10 mobs like prairie wolves were wandering around. And then, the grassland gave way to a vast wasteland on which Level 12 to 13 Rock Elementals could be found.
Rock Elementals had outstanding physical defense and low magic resistance. Their attack damage was also relatively low. This made them the perfect enemies for mages to level up. A lot more players were actually leveling up here rather than outside the north gate. However, because it was still in the morning and most professional players were asleep, Li Huailin only met three or four parties on the way.
About ten minutes later, Li Huailin realized from the surroundings that he had come close to the Lava Crack mentioned by Red Moon. He started seeing more and more black rocks while feeling the heat in the air. He really had to say that the game was very well-made as the heat felt so real.
The Lava Crack was actually part of a grand canyon which was surrounded by barren black mountains without any plants. Magma gushed out from the bottom of the canyon which caused the entire place to be extremely hot. The local monsters in the canyon were mainly wandering Fire Elementals.
Fire Elementals were tricky. They had super high attack and knew how to cast the spell for summoning fireballs. For physical class players who had low magic defense, they could become a nightmare. Close-combat class players suffered the most. The only good thing was that Fire Elementals had relatively low health points.
As soon as Li Huailin got closer to the entrance of the canyon, he saw three people guarding the entrance. He knew that they were guarding the spot since the three of them were just standing without doing anything. Li Huailin assumed that they were members of the Brotherhood of World Destruction, the guild who was responsible for stopping other players from entering the place.
As expected, before Li Huailin could get any closer, the three of them walked towards him first. One of them reached out a hand and stopped Li Huailin.
"Sorry my friend, the World Destruction guild has already booked the place. Would you please head to another area?" The Knight-type player wasn't acting rude at all, in fact, his attitude was actually quite polite.
"That's right. If you go further from here, you'll see a place where there are a lot of Evil Blade Assassins. Since their physical defense is low, they're suitable for warriors like you to fight and level up. You can go and check it out, my friend. The Fire Elementals here are too challenging for you," the Mage player at the side said.
"Well, I'm not here to level up." Li Huailin showed them his garbage-level equipment.
Li Huailin was still wearing a set of newbie equipment while holding a Level 10 Bronze sword. Him coming to this place to level up was something very unlikely to happen, one could find better equipment even in a system store.
"Then why are you here?" asked the Knight-type player.
"I'm here to seek trouble of course." Li Huailin said it in a tone like this was very obvious.
"What?" The three players were confused. They believed that this Warrior player wasn't here to level up because of the equipment he had, but they also couldn't believe that he was here to seek trouble for the exact same reason.
"Seek trouble?" The Mage player asked once more to confirm.
"You're right." Li Huailin nodded and continued, "You guys are from the World Destruction guild, right? Go and tell your leader this, I've taken over this place. You guys should go somewhere else."
"Ah?" The three players were even more confused now, however, they soon burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Tell the leader? This guy is so hilarious. I can't stop myself from laughing hard," the Priest player couldn't help and comment out.
"Which guild sent you here?" The Knight-type player was trying hard to hold back his laughter, "The Pride Nation? Maybe the Angel guild? How much did they pay you to come here in order to turn us into red names? You'd better be careful. We can easily send you back to the newbie village. You can give it a try if you don't believe us."
"Oh? So you're going to kill me?" Li Huailin was a little excited. A big guild was indeed much more confident and powerful than a single player.
"F*ck off. Otherwise, we'll bury you in the newbie village." The Knight-type player started threatening Li Huailin. If it weren't for the fact that the game didn't allow fights between players in the newbie village, they would definitely have said that Li Huailin would be killed back to Level 0.
"Really? Then I should make a point then." As he was saying this, Li Huailin raised his bronze sword.
"You're attacking us first?" The Knight-type player, who was the leader of the trio, was slightly surprised. At first, he thought that this single player was here to turn them into red names. However, it seemed that this weirdo was ready to launch an attack first, this meant that it was very unlikely to be his plan. They weren't afraid of having their names turn into red names. After all, they were working for a big guild. In the case that this was to happen, the guild would give them corresponding compensation. If they really had to choose between the two, they would rather not become red names.
Therefore, after giving it some thought, he informed the two players behind him, "This might be a trick. Perhaps he's planning to make us attack him first. Pay attention to the system's notice. After confirming that he hit us, we can kill him quickly."
Before he could finish his words. Li Huailin had already launched his attack. His fierce slash fell right on the Knight-type player's head.
-567
"Oh, sh*t!" Just as the Priest player was about to heal the Knight player, the number that popped out stunned him. How could anyone expect that a player in cotton clothes could take away half of a Knight's health points with a single blow?
Before the three of them could even react, Li Huailin had already launched his second round of attack. Since he wasn't seeking death today, he definitely wouldn't give them a chance to fight back. Today, Li Huailin wanted to brew some trouble and deep hatred which perhaps couldn't be solved forever.
"Pa!" With another crisp and clear sound, the number, -601, popped out above the Knight's head. Even though he was a Level 14 Knight player, the damage caused by Li Huailin attacks was enough to send him to heaven.
"Impossible!"
After watching the Knight player fall to the ground, the priest player suddenly exclaimed this.
"You… you're Kick…" The mage player suddenly recalled something. Before he could finish his words, Li Huailin had launched yet another attack.
-1106 (Critical Hit)
The Mage player directly collapsed on the ground.
"Kick… Kickass Brother?"
The Priest player had now recognized Li Huailin. Although his name was known to everyone on the forum, not everyone has actually seen him with their own eyes. Now, the Priest player could match the Warrior player in front of his eyes as the Kickass Brother he saw in the videos in the pinned thread.
"Yeah, don't forget to tell Ask Sky my name."
Because Li Huailin was here to seek trouble, these players recognizing him was exactly what he wanted.
"Well, that's enough talk. Here we go," Li Huailin's words gave an ultimatum.
"Kickass Brother…" The priest still wanted to say something but Li Huailin didn't give him the chance.
-551, -578
Although it wasn't a critical hit, these two slashes were enough. The priest fell to the ground with an unbelievable look on his face, he then soon turned into a beam of white light.
"Killing three people isn't a big deal. I should probably continue," Li Huailin murmured to himself while slowly walking in the Lava Crack with his sword in hand.
