Nakarating na rin sila Sam and Celindra sa America. Pinagtitinginan sila ng mga tao sa Airport. Sam is carrying Celindra's tired body and flight attendants are holding their baggage. Sam didn't even care about the attention they are getting. Celindra is sleeping, so she didn't know what really is happening. When Sam came out the airport, a people came and greeted Sam.
"Good day, Mr. Francisco. Is Mrs. Francisco alright?" The man who is leading the group said with a smile.
"She fine."
"This way please. I'm Max Alfonso, Mr. Clide's employee. These two ladies will be helping Mrs. Francisco. Young madam already has their contacts." Kina-usap ni Max si Sam at pinakilala isa-isa ang mga empleyadong makakasama nila. Natapos siyang magsalita ng makarating sila sa kotse. Dahan-dahang ibinaba ni Sam si Celindra sa backseat bago siya umupo. Inayos niya ang pagkaka-upo ni Celindra at sinandal sa kaniya.
Umandar na ang kotse at nagpunta sa hotel. Agad namang pumunta si Sam sa kanilang kwarto para makatulog ng maayos si Celindra. Pina-alis niya na ang mga empleyado at sinimulang linisin ulit ang katawan ni Celindra. Nang matapos siya pumunta siya sa cr para maligo.
Maya-maya lang ay nagising na si Celindra. Sam is still in the bathroom when she woke up. Feeling dizzy, she got her phone and texted one of the employee that her brother assigned for her.
[This is Celindra. I want you to buy me something. Don't knock on the door when the thing is with you. Text me first. Don't let anyone know about this. Not even my brother. Immediately delete my message.]
Her text had an instant reply.
[As you wish mam. What am I going to buy?]
Celindra immediately texted it and reminded her to not tell anyone and delete the message. She too deleted the messages. Celindra sat in the bed and reached the phone.
Tinawagan niya rin ang hotel service to ask for food to be brought in. Sumakto naman na tapos na siyang makipag-usap sa telephone ng lumabas si Sam galing sa cr. He is fully dressed to sleep and his hair is still wet.
"You're awake." Sam said.
"Hmm. I called hotel service to get us some food." Sam nodded and sat down the bed. He was about to hug Celindra when she stood up and went to the baggage.
"Your hair is still wet. It's not good to let it stay that way." Hinalungkat niya ang baggage hanggang sa makuha niya na ang hair blower. Sinaksak na niya ito at inumpisahang i-dry ang buhok ni Sam.
"Sit down. Your body is still weak. Let me do this." Sam took the hair blower and blowed her hair dry. Umupo naman si Celindra at tinarayan si Sam.
"Whose fault is that?"
"Of course it's yours. Your body seduced me ah." Sam grinned at her. She puffed her cheeks.
"Oh. Really?" she said, not forgetting to glare at him. Sam chuckled and put down the hair blower, plugging it out. He hugs Celindra and whispered sweet words. Everything is going smooth and he was about to get permission to enter her cave, when the doorbell rang. Sam glared at the door.
"It might be the food. I'm hungry." Celindra said with a pout. Sam can only helplessly sigh and stood up to get her food.
Kumakain na sila nung nagtext ang pinakahihintay ni Celindra. She immediately deleted it and stood up.
"Wait a bit. I need to get something." Celindra didn't wait for Sam's respond and walk to the door.
"Mam." The lady said. Binigay naman nito ang paper bags.
"Is it in here?" The lady nodded as a respond. "Alright, thank you. You can go." Celindra said and closed the door. Linagay niya ito sa gilid kasama ang mga baggage.
"What is that?" Sam curiously asked.
"I ordered some dresses." Celindra went back to eat and talk to Sam as if nothing happened.
Nang dumating na ang gabi ay pareho silang nakatulog na. Nagising si Celindra ng madaling araw at dahan-dahang umalis sa kama. Kinuha niya ang mga paper bags at dinala ito sa banyo. Linock niyang maigi ang banyo at nagsimulang alisin ang mga night dress na kakabili lang.
Samantalang ang tulog na si Sam ay biglang bumukas ang mata. He smiled, thinking Celindra's surprise might not be over. He then closed his eyes to pretend to sleep.
But Celindra didn't know what to do in the bathroom. She is holding pregnancy test with two lines. Her emotions clashed each other. The night dresses are only props. Ang pinabili niya talaga ay pregnancy test. She tested for five times, the result is still the same. Two lines means pregnant. She is pregnant.
Naramdaman niya lang ito nang pagkagising niya. Then, she realized her breast grew and became more sensitive. She gained weight. Some smells want to make her puke. Earlier at the airplane there are foods she wanted to taste but didn't like to. Duon na siya nagdoubt and wanted to take a test. It turns out this test not only surprise her but made her nervous, afraid and happy at the same time.
Dahil sa sobrang tagal ni Celindra sa cr, ang nagpapanggap na si Sam ay tumayo na at pumunta sa pinto. Pinihit niya ang doorknob pero naka lock ito kaya kumatok na lang siya na kumatok sa pinto.
"Celi--." Bumukas naman agad ang pinto at tumambad si Celindra na namumula ang mata.
"Why are you crying? You..." Celindra's tears fell and she began sobbing. Sam immediately hugged and coax her. "Okay.. It's okay.. Stop crying.. What is it...?" Celindra sniffed and gave him the pregnancy tests. Kinuha naman ito ni Sam at nang makita niya kung ano ito ay napahinto siya sa paghaplos ng buhok ni Celindra.
"This..." Celindra sniffed and her tears streamed down. She looks at Sam, telling him she didn't know what to do.
"Oh, God. Your pregnant..?" Sam asked and Celindra nodded.
"I think so..." Celindra muttered.
"I'm going to be a father.. Did anyone know?" Sam asked. Celindra looks at him, nervous. 'Ayaw niya ba ng baby? Mali ba? Maaga pa ba? Bakit?' nag-isip na ng kung ano-ano si Celindra na ikinatakot niya na baka iwanan siya ni Sam.
"You.. You don't want the baby..." Sam stunned at her words.
"What are you saying? I want the baby. You.. Ay.." Sam sighed and hug her. "Did you already went to the hospital?" Celindra shook her head.
"You just tested it now?" Celindra nodded. Hindi pa rin alam ni Celindra kung ano ang sasabihin niya kay Sam kaya sinagot niya na lang ang bawat tanong nito.
"We need to go to hospital tomorrow. We need to know if the baby is healthy. I'm sorry. I'm just worried about the baby. It's my fault for not being gentle last night. I'm afraid last night activities might affect the baby." Celindra looks at Sam, she too realize this and became worried.
"Don't worry... Let's go to sleep first. You need to sleep for the baby." Sam coaxed Celindra and went to bed. When Celindra fell asleep, he stood up and went out. Sam called his mother.
"Mom, Celindra is took five pregnancy test and the result is pregnant. What do I do? I did something at the airport... Would that affect the baby? What do I need to do? Is there are things I need to take note of?" Sam continuesly asked, nervous.
"Celindra's pregnant!" Chesca loudly asked, shock.
"Mom, answer me." Sam ruffled his hair.
