My name is Debojyoti Sengupta. I read in class eleven in Kendriya Vidyalaya Fort William. I am delighted and excited to know and write the biography of Subhash Chandra Bose. I would like to urge the people of India to build a personality like Subhash Chandra Bose later in their lives.
Subhash Chandra Bose's biography encourages me, exposed me to think and know the country I belongs to. Nowadays, the world is being formed so that today's society is getting involved with bad things, bending their backbone and turning their heads in front of evil deeds (Nirbhaya hatya kand). The reason behind this may be that people does not have strong stubbornness, strong ideal or aim. Subhash babu always follow his ideology, but the day comes when he has to go to England to complete his ICS course, he was being forced to move to England that day by knowing the incident of "Jallian Wallah Bagh Kand". But when he returned he said that "I never bow my head in front of British government but my head repeatedly bowed in front of the soil of my country. I felt shameless from the beginning to ending of every day and I think that I might not have look up to the soil of India as long as my country got it's independence.
People today forgot about Subhash ji, his contribution, his dedication and his deeds for working selflessly towards the independence of the country. Today people celebrating his birthday by giving Flowers, wrapping him with garlands, doing function etc. But very few people I have seen standing in front of Subhash Ji's poster or idol and put on a salute. I think few people wants to do so but they don't have the courage to do or thinking what five people say, whether they would laugh at him or not and they can't do it. But they doesn't think that today because of his self-sacrificing lust and spirit that the country could able to see the face of liberation.
Author's part of thinking....
From my part of thinking, Netaji is very much desirable personality who could be placed in the seat of God. He sacrifices every joy and fun in his life in the name of the independence of the country. His massloving nature and strong personality made him to sit in such a position.
Thank you guys!
Jai Hind!!
Let us start the voage of biography from acknowledging the situation of the country....
During the end of 20th century India had come to face a brutal history. That time the British government was behaving very harshly and Inhumanly towards the Indians. They treat Indians as poor natives and insult them in various ways. That time they used to extract the property of the landowners and utilised it in the building of armed forces. People of India were so foolish that they did business with the government and helping them to spread the British Raj over the country. The British government posted their officers in the respective prisons over the country, and give severe punishments to the prisoners starting from untidy surrounding or unhealthy environment to messy food. The prisoners were treated as animals in the jail. When few people started to estimate and could able to predict the future situation they started revolting against the government as a result, some were severely punished and few were hanged, which finally creates a frightening environment over the jail. When the news of the jail spread over the country, people started frightened. But few people who consider their country as mother, the continued their revolting till the last breadth of death. This people where known as Swadeshis. The government spread false news that the people who still revolting against the government might kill people and could also steal their properties. They spread such news only in a view that people were getting afraid of them. The Swadeshis revolters, revolt against the British bt attacking the police stations, law courts, and by killing officers. Their main ideal was to independent their country in any way. At that time, in Bengal popular Swadeshis leader Sri Aurobindo Ghosh lead their team by attainding meetings and holding assemblies in various part of the country. British government were afraid of them and arrest them without any vital reason and treat them bruttaly. At that time, Indian people act as spyies and collect informations of those people who were revolting against the government and informed to the police headquarters (Lal Bazar) for which they were handsomely rewaded. During those days, the country has it's capital in Calcutta. But due to massive and excessive revolt against the government, George V, then emperor of India with his queen Mary, his consort, made the announcement on 12th December 1911 that the capital of the Raj was to be shifted from Calcutta to Delhi.
Coming to the point....
In such a situation of the country, Subhash Chandra Bose was born in Cuttak in 23rd January 1897 (then the capital of Orissa) far away from Calcutta.
At that time, Calcutta's famous and successful lawyer Sri Janokinath Bose's ninth son was Subhash Chandra Bose. Janoki babu had nine sons and four daughters. His wife Probhaboti Devi was very kind and peaceful lady. She always used to give something to the poors. As looking to her mother, from childhood Subhash was also used to donate money to poors. As usual when Subhash went to his school her mother used to give money to buy short foods and tiffin for the school lunch, but he donate both of them to the poors which was a happy moment of the day for him. Her mother always worried about Subhash, and always thought that whether Subhash bought short foods or eat his tiffins on to time or not. Janokinath Bose was one of the great and successful lawyer of cuttack and received the title of "Rai Bahadur" by the British government. He later developed his patriotism and become a member of Bengal Legislative Council.

His brave life story.....
One day morning, when Subhash was moving to the school road with his uncle, a big procession was going on whose main dialogue is "Vande Mataram". They represented their keynote speech through the medium of song 'Vande Mataram'. In between their slogans they repeatedly uttering the word "Swadeshis". The song was quite interesting and melodious to Subhash. But one question strikes his mind that what is the need of such a big procession to sung a song? Actually, Subhash had very curious mind and was brave from his childhood which made him asked questions whenever he faces any doubts. He shared his doubts and difficulties to Sarat babu, called Majdada by Subhash. He always asked his Majdada to solve his problems. Sarat babu always encourages him and helping him to read different story books, stories of the lives of big people, adventure related stories, detective stories and especially the history of India and the livelihood of the Indian people at that time('Desher kotha written by Sokharam deoshkar').
At that time, Subhash throw sand in Richardson's eyes in case to save Rahim chacha from such a situation. As a result, it spreads all over the Bengal and Orissa that a boy had thrown sand in Richardson's eyes. When Subhash went to his house he shared everything to his Majdada whatever was happened there. At that time, Mukunda Ghosh was the jailer of Cuttack, who went to Janokinath Bose's house to inquired whether his son Subhash Chandra Bose had done this or not. But Sarat babu had smartly managed the situation. When the police had gone Janokinath babu had asked Subhash whether he knew something about the matter or not. As he didn't tell lie to anyone, he said everything what had happened there. On the contrary, he had punished to read a whole book within one night for which all had thought that it was a hard job which Subhash had to do. But in the next morning Janokinath babu himself getting surprised when he came to know that Subhash had completed the book within one night. His father blessed him to be like this and always be studious as he was now.
One morning when Subhash went to school his father called him. With due respect he put down his head, his father asked him how is his study going? Could he read it all? Subhash was quitly answering all the questions. Then father said him that "Brave boys always look up, don't look down", You have to be the first boy of your school. He answered his father that , he would tried his best.
From P.E. school Subhash was the first to study, that's why some British students were jealous of him but he weak in sports during his childhood days. One day, the British students become concentrated and tickeled Subhash that Could Indians hunt tigers or lions. He asked his friends (with tickling voice) whether they knew that Indians were not good in sports, they even couldn't run well. Actually they were cowards. Subhash answered them that not to call indians as scared one, we show our courage in course of time. The Charles replied that when the time comes Subhash when Indians were beaten up and once the time comes when the fall down. Then Subhash answered them that don't forget Charles people learn to beat only by beating. By getting excited, Charles replied that then hit me subhash! - hit me!. Then Subhash replied that you didn't beat me then why I going to beat you. But stubborn Charles didn't listen to him and began to uttering the same thing. Then Subhash regret to do the work and asked to tell something else which he could did to prove that Indians were not scary. He also warned Charles and asked him that he had no right to said this. Then consperecIlly, they asked Subhash to be first in the school's sports meet (as they knew it very well that Subhash was weak in sports and also Charles had an overconfidence as he won the race for last few years).
In the spirit of the statement, Subhash was really weak in sports in his childhood days. But, his stubbornness said him not to lose in front of the British. Moreover, he was boosted by remembering the moment when Charles slandered Indians as losers. The matter went up to the principal's desk. He called both the parents and asked to stop the racism in the school as it affects the other students. But, Charles father pressurises the principal to hold a competition between Subhash and Charles on the topic of sports and written examination. The principal finally agreed and asked for competition on the above mentioned topics at the day of sports meet. Subhash knew it very well that he would pass the written examination, but as he weak in sports he had to did a bitter hardwork in it. His Majdada convinces him by saying that Subhash always remember one thing "Consistency make a man perfect in doing a particular job". He also advised Subhash to wake up early and practice for the upcoming race. By remembering his Majdada's advice he wake up early and work hard for the race. His Majdada was always their to support him and he always boosted him not to loose his confidence. He helped Subhash to run faster as he could. He applied time rule to helped Subhash to run faster. Some days also came when Subhash was very tired, he even couldn't able to breadth properly but his Majdada asked him to run faster. Finally, the day came, when the annual sports meet held at P .E . school, Charles, his friends and some Indian students participated in that race waiting for Subhash to join. On the other hand, Charles and his friends started to talk badly about Subhash by saying that he was afraid of getting lose in front of them that's why he didn't came. But when Subhash came he asked Subhash to went back to his home as charles would win the race. Subhash then replied that he didn't came here to lose the race. He would tried to be first in the race. He also wished them 'best of luck' for the race. But, Charles was so greedy that he didn't accept it, on the contrary, he pushed Subhash away from his line. The judge also noticed the matter and asked the principal to stop the race but the principal ordered him to continue the race. At that moment, Subhash was standing up, regain his confidence and started to run faster as he could. On other side, Charles was laughing on him and run slowly as he was full of overconfidence that he would won the race. But finally Subhash won the race by his confidence and stubbornness. His principal, praised him and told him that he won the race not only because of his strong stubbornness and confidence but also because of his honestly and devotive hardwork towards the race. The principal also linked the incident with the story of the rabbit and the totwise.t
