Wait… but the star-maned lion required her fetal organ. Bummer. Also, given the skills inorganic nature, she wasn't even sure the two could combine.
And so, yet again, Ann was stuck. Even she was beginning to panic as the thorns began scraping the bird's frantically moving body through its protective membrane.
She tried her best to calm down, and only when she closed her eyes and deafening herself did she regain clarity. It took a few precious seconds, but she managed to find a single avenue to venture towards after recalling all of her potentialities.
It was strange, and although she doesn't know how it'll turn out, she decided to go with it. After all, what other choice did she have?
Once she confirmed her choice, Ann, with no hesitation left, summoned it.
Immediately, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as her entire consciousness leaked out of her core like a gas leak.
Soon, a projection of her scarred soul formed above her head. While her body was motionless, the soul projection then creeped its way into the head of the giant.
Along the way, Ann began feeling a very special connection develop between the soul avatar and the soul projection.
When the soul projection reached the head of the giant, the bond fully created itself. Ann felt as if her body and soul were reunited, only this body was much stronger than the last. She was so engrossed in this feeling that she didn't feel what appeared to be the nascent formation of a soul core.
Crazier yet, her consciousness began expanding as if to match the sheer prowess of her new body. It filled the body of the giant, increasing its muscle definition and overall resolution.
However, it didn't end there. Her will continued evolving past the body, as if it was innate to the White Knight. It continued for about a mile before reaching its limit. She had never felt so liberated before, and her perception was if she was a god looking down at ants.
At that moment, it was like gravity multiplied as everything starting sinking around the White Knight. Even the trees began bending under the pressure. And under that same pressure, the squirrels couldn't help but kneel, despite great resistance. Their soul avatars weren't of much help either as this was an intangible threat.
With immense difficulty, the squirrels looked up at the knight and saw its sentient eyes blazing with rainbow flames staring at them.
Immediately, their eyes glazed over and the world darkened. Only the knight and stars was in their eyes now and everything else was obscured.
The White Knight saw this and was delighted that its prey had been caught. It released a guttural roar that was filled with the bloody aura of killing intent, which made everything shiver regardless of whether it was alive or not.
Then, as if it was innate to the White Knight, it shouted something it had never said before:
"The World shall be plunged into darkness forevermore, until the Light of the Holy Order reigns supreme!"
"Now, fall for me like rain does from a cloud, and wash away in the River of Time to be forgotten for all of eternity!"
Like an imperial decree, the words spoken were empowered with such strength and vigor that all those who heard it could not resist. The twin suns began shaking, as if afraid to disobey the order, and began dropping from the sky.
The squirrels looked at the sky in total fear and shock, unable to believe what they were witnessing. The star's heat grew and their light became brighter as they fell.
Eventually, all they saw was the whiteness of the stars and all they felt was the unending heat that scorched their bodies. It didn't take long before they couldn't handle the torturous pain anymore and immediately dropped dead.
Their eyes had liquefied and had poured out of it's sockets.
