An empty black space. No sound, or features could be identified. The only thing in this space was a person with their eyes closed.

They had tanned skin, and long black hair thay reached thier shoulders. They were wearing a plain white shirt, and blue jeans with no shoes or socks.

"Ugh" The person grumbled as they opened their eyelids to show their amber colored eyes, as they sat up holding their head. If one looked at their face they would easily be able to tell they were male.

"Where am I, and why is it so dark? Am I supposed to do something?" Asked the person in a tone as if they were just finished going through puberty.

"I don't know where this is, but I just want to lay down." Right after he said that a loud thump sound was heard in front of them.

After the thump sound the person jumped back, and after a few seconds he said, "Is that what I think it is?" He then started walking forward with his hand out feeling for something, until he felt wood, and something soft.

"It is!" Exclaimed the person as they proceeded to jump onto what he thought was a bed, and began to lay his head down.

"Drip"

"Huh." The person thought as he felt something wet hit his head and said, "Wish I had some light."

"Whoosh" The sound of fire was heard, and the person looked at it. It was light crimson color with a few traces of blue.

"Cool." Said the person in an amazed voice as they waved the flame around, until they spotted something in the corner of their eye, and turned their head.

They saw a giant monster, the size of two elephants. It had the body of an anglerfish, but it legs with the thickness of tree trunks, and instead of its lure being a light it was the "bed" the person was laying on.

They looked at it, and quickly hopped off the "bed" to the ground.

"What is that!? Why is it here, wherever this is!?" Yelled the person staring at the monster in fear.

Then the monster started to walk forward, step by step, shaking the empty space each time, which prompted the person to crawl back.

"Stop, stop, STOP!" Yelled the person still crawling back.

Then, "Crk, crk" The sound of cracking could be heard from the floor.

"Boom" The sound of the floor breaking under the monster, as if it was being pressed down by something.

After seeing this the person breathed a sigh of relief, "Now how do I leave?" Asked the person as they looked around.

"ROAR" The monster shouted at the person.

"AAAAAAAAAAA" They screamed in a feminine voiced, in a pitch high enough to break glass. The strange part though was, while this happened lightning crackled around the person, and then jumped to the monster shocking it, causing it to roar louder, which continued until the person passed out.

"...up. Wake up. WAKE! UP!" Yelled a female voice, causing the person to jump up.

"I'm up." He said in a groggy voice looking at the female.

She had hair as golden wheat, ripe and ready to be harvested. Her eyes were ice blue, though a warmth shone through them. She had a mole on the middle of her right cheek that contrasted her white skin, and a face that radiated youth, and a chest that seem too big for the shirt she was wearing.

"Good, you should start getting ready for school, and I heard you screaming, are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah just a nightmare, nothing to worry about." He said not wanting to think about it.

"Thats good, well hurry up, breakfast is ready." She said while walking away.

'Thank God my scream wasn't like the one in my dream.' He thought to himself getting out of the bed.

Then he saw the female turn around, "Oh yeah, Charge.", she said. "Yeah mom" He replied.

"You scream like a girl." Charge's mom said, and then strolled off.

'Nevermind.' He though.

Charge got out of bed, and walked to the bathroom then started to strip and step into the shower. Looking at his stomach one would see he looked fit, but not very buff. He stayed in the shower for 3 minutes until he got out and brushed his teeth, before getting dressed in a black shirt with the head of a dragon with blue scales, long tan horns, and dark green eyes. He was also wearing tan pants, and black shoes with streaks of blue lightning on them.

He then walked over to his dresser, and grabbed his phone, which had a white tiger on the case, and put it in his pocket.

Finally he put on a black jacket with a turtle that has a snake wrapped around on the back, and grabbed his book bag, which was a sky with a phoenix on it, and walked down stairs.

When Charge made it down stairs he was greeted by a table with eggs, sausage, bacon, and some bread. He also saw a man sitting at the table to which he said, "Morning Stan." In a disdainful voice.

"Morning screamer." Said Stan, an man with white skin, black hair, and slanted eyes. "Come eat before the food gets cold." His mom said taking a seat, which causes him to do just that.

"So a new semester starts today, ready for the exam?" Asked John looking at Charge.

"I guess so. I mean you can't really prepare to get tested for magic, but I'm not nervous if that was what you were inferring." Said Charge in an annoyed tone, while shoveling some eggs in his mouth.

"Well I think you'll do fine." Said Charge's mom in an excited tone, before looking at the clock to her left and saying, "Oh, it's 8:40, you should get going before you're late."

Charge then shoved the rest of his food into his mouth and grabbed the bread, and said, "Bye mom!", before running out of the house, and hopping on his red bike, putting the bread in his mouth, and riding away.

10 minutes later Charge pulls up to the school. It is has two levels, and brick walls. There are two entrances, the front that leads directly to the courtyard with a symbol of a hand made of magma reaching up, and the back with a parking lot.

Charge rode through the front then parks his bike, and locking it up. He then walks into the school to his classroom.

The room was almost full with 25 people in it, but to him sounded like a full auditorium.

After Charge sat down a petite girl walked up, and started talking to him.

"Hey Charge, still rocking the Chinese constellations I see." Said the girl cheerily. She had brown curly hair that reached her neck, and brown eyes. She was wearing a blue shirt, and dark blue pants with white shoes.

"Hey Cid, and my clothes are awesome, you're just mad you dont have it." Said Charge.

"Whatever, you ready for the exam?" Asked Cid.

"As ready as I can be" Replied Charge, "I mean you never know, today could be the day." He said with a smile.

"It could be." Said Cid copying Charge's smile.

While this is happening a guy who most would say has the stature of a giant walked over with a scowl on his face and said, "Charge, still talking to my girl I see, guess you didn't learn your lesson last time huh?" He said in an angry tone.

Charge sighed the said, "Morning to you too Dick." With a bored expression.

The giants face then changes to a large smile, and says, "That's my name don't wear it out." He says loudly, and pulls up a chair and takes a seat.

Dick, and Cid were Charge's friends he made his first year in highschool, and have been for a whole year. None of them really remember how they became friends, but they still hang out whenever they have free time.

They then started talking for the next 5 minutes until the bell rung, and the teacher walked in.

He had brown skin, and black hair. He was wearing a white collar shirt with a black tie, and pants following the dress code teachers had to follow.

"Morning class, as you know today is a new semester, or better known as exam day. Lucky that will be all this block, so I don't actually have to teach. With that being said head to the gym to be tested." He said in a tired voice.

Everyone then headed to the gym with only light chatter being heard going there.
