Ghost twirled and aimed a kick at his chest he caught it and pulled her to him. Shifting his weight forward he pinned her to the ground.
She blushed. She was so beautiful he thought as her minty breath fanned his face.
"Sorry." He mumbled as he realized that he had been staring.
She giggled and pushed on his chest. He rolled exagerantly and laid next to her his chest rising and falling.
"Would you like to do breakfast again tomorrow?" she asked casually.
"No. I have guard duty. I cant make it to dinner either."
He didnt give any further explanation and she smiled at him before standing.
"Its okay I'm busy with dinner anyway." She lied.
He smiled, "I need to take a shower, Catch you for training after guard tomorrow?"
"Sounds good." She said leaning in to give him a hug and settling on a hand shake. He chuckled lightly at the look on her face before shaking her hand and leaving her in the field alone.
He brooded. A hand shake?
He felt like he was losing his mind. He thought she liked him, but during breakfast she had said it was nice to have a 'friendship like theirs'.
He needed a step back to revaluate the way he was feeling. If she wanted a friend he could be a friend. He thought he could be. He would have to be he thought, for her sake, and his own. It was nice to have her around, it made him feel...good.
He thought. Yeah. Maybe he was confusing things he shouldn't be. She just made him feel good. He smiled faintly as he headed off to the shower.

*Scar
He was getting back from a quick job. For once he had worked with a crew. Finding out who he could trust and who he couldn't was going to be important if he was going to be taking over the manor.
A man named Radir was complaining about his ten percent cut last week from his father and Scar spoke quietly to him. His hands were in his pockets and the other man around them fell quiet to here him speak.
"Your just a common theif. If you want more money you need more skill. Bigger jobs are bigger pay days."
"Well it's not like I can just get better at this shit man. I'm just trying to make it through. I only wanted to do one job man. One job to feed the family, and then your father branded me."
He licked his lips as he chuckled not finding anything about it very funny, "Now I'll never find decent work and my wife has to live in fear that one day I'll turn up dead and they'll come for my boys. That is if they dont starve to death first with what I get paid."
Scar nodded. "Would you be willing to be trained?"
Radir laughed, "We both know things don't work like that. There's no money in training me and if I tried to strike out on my own I'd be a dead man by morning, my oldest son a ganster that very night."
"What if they did work like that?"
His voice was sharp and impatient biting out into the night.
"Your serious? Aren't you?"
The man's face had lost its luster as a small bit of fear crept in. Scar shrugged.
"Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not.Maybe you should just answer the question in case I never ask it again."
The man stopped walking and the whole group stopped standing behind Scar.
"If things worked like that I'd want you to ask me that question again."
They all turned and headed for the Sylvador manor pensively. They all felt a change of the winds as they shifted direction.

The first floor of the manor was dark. It was late. Dinner time was long over and the woman leading him to his old bedroom asked, "First floor on the right?"
"Yeah at the end of the hall."
She smirked at him. Her hand smoothed down his arm.
"So strong. Carry me?"
His chest rumbled as she swung up onto his hips and he grabbed her carrying her semi drunkenly to his room. They had started kissing and their breaths became short as he walked. He didnt notice Ghost infront of the door until he pushed the call girl into the wall and went for the knob.
"Carver." Her voice was quiet, the call girl giggled in his arms as she noticed Ghost, and lazily leaned back on the wall.
"Ghost, what are you doing down here so late." He said breathlessly looking at her in shock.
"I uh... One of the guys said you'd be down here tonight."she stuttered and her face flushed.
"I just wanted to tell you somthing, but.. it can wait for tomorrow." She scooted around them in the hall.
"I'm so sorry. Pretend you never even saw me." She breathed out quickly and turned in the hall walking away at a near run. He watched her turn the corner and the call girls voice hotly fanned his ear as she started kissing his neck, "Friend of yours?"
"Yeah," he whispered, "Somthing like that."
