Just as their conversation ended, Ruo Bei's phone screen lit up with a text.
'This is the reason I told everything about myself. You are the only person who will leave everything behind for her. She trusts you with her life. If in the future she is in any danger and if you know about me it will be easier for you to take care of her.'
Reading that msg he knew who it came from.
He just looked sideways at her face which still had an innocent smile.
You said he doesn't have feelings but I doubt it...Jaan. He really cares too much for you. Ruo Bei thought.
Then he texted back.
'I promise I'll try my best to protect her.'
But the msg was declined he couldn't send the msg.
Again he got another text.
'Hmm...that's why I trusted you'
After a twenty minute ride they reached the restaurant. It was not a big restaurant but just a small street restaurant.
They went in and sat near the window.
"Even though this restaurant is small its food is very good and it is even hygienic so dont worry " she said.
A waiter came to them and gave them the menu cards.
"What do you want to eat?" Natasha asked looking at the menu.
"Anything"
He just doesn't know how to enjoy his life does he? Eating for living... hmph
"Okay then I'll order whatever I want we can share." saying this she called the waiter and placed her order.
"No spicy food" she heard him say.
Pouting her lips she okayed.
At least he's letting me eat outside.
She ordered almost all the dishes on the card.
She's just a foodie...
After the dishes arrived she started eating excitedly.
He just looked at her gulping the food.
"Eat slowly" He said in a doting voice.
"Hmm mm" she answered with puffed cheeks.
Such a pig... he thought
He knows her very well.
In whatever mood she is happy, sad, or angry she eats... just give her food.
Looking at them the old lady who was observing them smiled.
She called a worker and gave some instructions to her.
After some time a waiter came to their table and placed a plate of dumplings in front of them.
"I don't think we ordered this" Natasha said.
"Its a special dish. Only the owner knows its recipe. She asked us to send it to you"
"Your owner??...Why did she give us this?"
"That I don't know" the waitress answered.
"Okay thank you" She said with a smile.
Looking at her smile the waitress blushed and ran in.
Observing the waitresses reaction Ruo Bei frowned.
The old lady just chuckled.
Natasha took a bite of the dumplings and her eyes lit up.
"Ohh my god.... Ruo"
Hearing her shout Ruo Bei was stunned for a moment and hurriedly went to her side
"What..what happened ?" he asked with a worried face
She looked at him and said with a bright smile, "Its soo delicious...I can eat it every day....yummy...hahaha"
Hearing that he sighed, felt relieved and went to his seat.
"Then eat more."
Looking at the pair the old lady thought what a lovely couple..
After eating they asked the waiter if they can meet the owner.
"How was my dish?" an old lady walked towards them.
"Yummy"
"I'm glad"
"Thank you for the food"
"Thank you for coming. Come back again"
"Sure"
After breakfast they went home as it was time for her medicine and dressing.
She parked KIT in the garage and went to the room where the nurse was already waiting.
She still felt that something was off with that nurse but she couldn't point out.
Then she went down to KIT.
"KIT I want another ear piece mine is gone."
"Okay"
KIT gave her the earpiece.
"So what did you do to that old man?"
"Nothing I just heard your conversation and thought of making him regret talking to you that way and claiming me his."
"I hacked into his computer and deleted every information he had collected this whole year. He has to submit it to his supervisor next week."
"It took him a year to find that information now how is he going to submit it in a week?....KIT your the best."
The next day she woke up early and went to the kitchen.
She wanted to make that dumplings she ate yesterday at the restaurant for everyone.
When the kitchen staff saw her come in they asked if she needed anything but after hearing that she wanted to cook they quickly sent a person to call the head butler. They can't let her cook.
When head butler heard he quickly ran to the kitchen. After arriving he saw her taking out the ingredients from the fridge.
"Little princess what are you doing here?"
"I am cooking.. so all of you go out and don't disturb me"
"But Miss can you cook?" One of the chefs asked with hesitation.
He really doesn't want to see his lovely kitchen look like a war zone.
"Ofcourse I can that's why I'm here....but today I'm going to try and make that dish I ate yesterday."
Thinking of the dish her eyes twinkled.
"Okay now everyone go out.. out" she pushed everyone out.
They were reluctant to leave so they stood at the door and watched her cook.
Her movements were flawless as if she was an expert.
When everyone woke up and came down they saw the chefs standing outside the kitchen and peeping inside.
What are they doing? everyone thought.
RuoBei on the other hand looked like he knew something and just shook his head.
"Why cant she sit quite?" he said in a low voice looking at the direction of the kitchen but father Lu and mother Lu who were behind him heard what he said.
