After talking to Gabby, I noticed that my tea has gotten cold. I have been sitting here at the computer for quite a while now. Seeing the new orders rolling in and emailing my customers to tell them that their purchase is on the way. Owning a online business isn't always easy. Of course I love the fact that I work from home but sometimes things just get too crazy.
I started this small business last May and now it's already February. I make custom clothing at home and sell them online. The sewing and shipping are all done by me. I'm not making much to hire help. Sure, it pays my bills and I make enough to spend on daily needs. But it's not a business that can pay employees at the moment.
I manage my business social medias quite well and my marketing skills aren't bad. At least for someone who doesn't have a business degree or fashion designer degree. I have gained some loyal customers over the past couple of months though. Which surprises me as I didn't hope for much. Says the person who spent quite a lot on her business website.
Anyways, I usually model the clothes myself or have Gabby model it for me. Although, I don't show my face, Gabby's more than happy to. Oh, little Ms. I want to be famous. I really adore her though, she was the one who pushed me to start this business of mine. I focus on women fashion more than men. Men's are.. what can I say? a bit boring usually. I'm just not interested in their clothing.
While walking to the kitchen to get another cup of tea I realized that I have no idea what I'm going to wear. For heaven's sake, it's February and summer's still not here. The annoying Valentine's day is on the way as well. I'm single and a hater, I know. Boohoo me... I just have to stay off of my personal social medias that day. I don't want to see all my friends receiving flowers and so on.
*sigh*
Sometimes I think about adopting a pet.. because living in this two bedroom and two bathroom apartment can get quite lonely. I sometimes feel like a prisoner and my cellmate is myself. Although working from home is nice and all.. I sometimes argue with myself over fabrics to use and ect. If an outsider were to see me in this apartment unnoticed, they would think that I am completely insane.
One bedroom is basically my office and workspace. With my sewing machines and supplies. Right now it looks like I got robbed.. because it's so messy. It usually gets like this when I have deadlines to meet. The other bedroom is well, my bedroom. When Gabby sleeps over she would share my bed. I don't invite anyone over, I usually keep to myself. Gabby's also the only person who I keep in touch with. I don't want a lot of friends like most people in life.
The water boils as she opens the cabinet to grab a teabag. She put the teabag in the cup and pours the hot water in. She walked to the sofa in the living room and placed the teacup on the table. Pulling a small blanket over her body she lay down and turned on the T.V.

Hm?

I opened my eyes to see my phone buzzing. Oh no.. I fell asleep.. shit.
"Heyy" I said into the phone.
"Heyyyy, are you ready or what? I'm about to head to N club in about 15 minutes. These fake eyelashes are going to be the end of me" she said, sounding distracted by her eyelashes.
"Ah.. yup, yeah, I'm almost done too just have to finish up my makeup and do my hair" I spoke, trying not to sound like I just woke up.
"Okay girl and Abby?"
"Yeah?"
"You better wear a dress. Just put on a long coat and we can throw it in the car when we get there. We are going to dance in heels today baby!!" says Gabby, sounding really excited.
"Okay, see you there" I replied trying not to waste anymore time.
She pushes off the blanket and rushes to the bathroom. After taking a quick, nice warm shower she went into her bedroom. Opening her closet wide as she stood in front of it, searching for the right dress.
She ended up choosing a black short dress with a v-neck with straps. The dress sucked onto her body in such a way that it shows off her some of her curves. She didn't have much but she was okay with her body. Matching the dress with a pair of black high-heels she then did her makeup and did her hair in a half bun.
Her hair was light ash brown and long down to her waist. Her eyes were of a gold-ish color that has a bit of orange. Most gets reminded of a sunflower when they look into her eyes.
